ZYBER Charging Dock for Meta Quest 2, VR Stand Oculus 2 (Support Elite Strap with Battery), Station Rechargeable Batteries, USB-C Charger and Cable, White (AL - Q016)

I bought the ZYBER Charging Dock for Meta Quest 2 in order to organize my headset and controllers during charging and the dock also converts your controllers from non-rechargeable to rechargeable. I am very happy with this unit as it is well made, easy to assemble, and is beautiful to boot. Now, the important part: After i assembled the controllers and inserted the magnetic USB-C adapter in the headset I placed them all on the dock. The headset would charge but not the controllers. I believe others must have run into this problem also. The solution is to take an eraser, emory board, or very fine grit sandpaper and slightly burnish the sliver contacts on the side of the rechargeable batteries. There seems to be some unseen film stopping the contacts from establishing a connection with the controller cover pins. After you burnish the battery side contacts and reinsert the battery ensuring the contact side of the battery is up so it mates with the pins on the cover, everything will work as intended. It's a great docking station. Love the fact that there is no cable for charging the headset. The light to tell whether it's charged or not is helpful. It doesn't take up too much space. HOWEVER, the controllers do not charge. Doesn't matter which way I put it, they will not charge. Batteries work, because we played it with the new ones. However, when we try to put them on the charger, it doesn't charge it. Kind of pointless when the point is to have rechargeable batteries.Update: My teenage son didn't realize the extra controller covers that came with the docking station have special connections to charge the batteries. Crisis averted. All is good!

Product was easy to set up. Worked great 3 times and then the headset charger that uses a magnet just stopped charging completely. Controllers will still charge so far (I'm only charging them for the second time though so maybe those will fail after a few uses also?).So, I'm charging the headset with a separate cable. 😞I did get a pretty fast response from the seller and a new magnet charger (it comes with 4) did at least temporarily solve the issue. I have no idea why the first one only worked twice. There is nothing visibly wrong with it.I will update later if anything else crazy happens. :)

I purchased this product April 12th 2023 and it is a week later April 20th 2023. The set up was very simple,just a FYI make sure that the rechargeable batteries (which are provided) are placed in your handles correctly, so that they can get the connection and battery charged correctly, Blue is charging and Green is charged. Don't be worried if one handle takes longer to charge than the other, they both will charge up. I do love that you also receive 4 small prons for the headset to connect to for charging. Just in case you lose 1. It took about 2- hours to charge up fully even after my cousin and I played Beat Saber for about 45 mins or so together. I also have a new headstrap and handle attachment for which you do see in the photo. Which the 2 were purchase separate from this charging dock. So all in all for right now it is worth the price. No complaints here... So Far So Good

The media could not be loaded. This is a very good product. The only thing off with this dock is that my light won’t turn on for the headset, but I think it’s fine because it still charges. This just started happening, but it doesn’t do anything to affect me. I know some people might say that the light button makes it turned off, but I tried that. Other than that this is the only stand I’ve bought and it works very well for me. Another thing I like is that it came with controller covers, and new batteries. Overall a great product and I recommend it to you.

Works great

so purchased it in november for a christmas gift. it worked great for a week. now one of the hand recharge ports wont charge. so frustrated. would not recommend purchasing this item to anyone. looks great. like the lights to know when it is charging and fully charged. so will not be using this product or purchasing anything else made from this company. it is unreliable and very disappointing to get something and have it only work for a week.
