2008 HD night rod specialPerfect for getting rid of the license plate bracket /turn signals.*installation instructionsTake off rear seat (2 nuts) , remove 6 bolts from rear fender, then remove the tag bracket and cut the wires leaving the harness in tact for future removal without having to cut wires. Splice all grounds together (2 black wires) , remove factory bulb & plug in new brake light and splice each turn signal separately (purple wires) on corresponding sides. You wont need license plate wires (2 gray wires) You will not need resistor (plug in thing it comes with) if you have stock (non led) front turnsignals .

The light works great but there are no instructions on how to hook this up. Here is quick explanation of the wiring. My bike is an 07 night rod special so I will be speaking on that model. This is an install in the U.S.Once you remove the rear seat and get to the wires on the motorcycle. Cut the wires going to the turn signals and rear light. This should include a purple wire and black wire for each turn signal. For the wires going to the original rear light, the wires should include a blue wire, a black wire, and a red/yellow wire.For the wires coming from the new rear light, there should be two yellow/black wires, a green wire, a black wire and a red wire.splice the yellow/black wires from the new tail light to the corresponding left and right purple wires that did go to the old turn signals. Then two remaining black wires that went to the old turn signals splice them together.Then, take the black wire going to the old tail light and splice it to the new black wire coming from the new taillight. Then take the old blue wire and splice it to the new solid red wire. Then take the last remaining wires which should be the old red/yellow wire and splice it to the new green wire.Hope this helps

I do like the integrated turn signals and goes easy it is to connect. I don’t like how one of the turn signals stays on at all times so the yellow arrow can be seen in the middle of the red ones.

I grew tired of the dealership swapping out the old fashioned bulb whenever it burned out. This LED will be much more durable. Looks better too.

After ordering the light it sat in the box on my shelf until my bike was redone. The first ride I took it on with the new light one of the tabs broke and the light filled with water and burned out the leds. I tried to have it returned or even exchanged and the seller cancelled my request. Would give it zero star if possible and would not recommend it to others

Very fast delivery. Seller is very nice and will do anything to get you happy, very nice.For a V-Rod 04; The best so far with a very nice clean cut and not scratches. The inside is black not white as in the picture.

The wireing sucks a stupid bulb socket pice failed and no clue how to get around it
