AMAZING! My husband was skeptical, but even he said best money spent! We bought 2 of them, thinking we may need multiple ones to cool down our pool, but haven't even opened up the 2nd one yet. I have spent the last 20 years dreaming of when I'd have an inground pool to create memories with my family. We finally got one and within the first 2 weeks of using it, my husband said the water was way too hot and he wasn't gonna swim unless we cooled down the water...water temp was like 94-95 deg! We bought this .. hoping we wouldn't have to spend $3000 on a cooling system...seemed like a long shot...$35 vs. $3000...but I had to try. Withing 3 days, with daily Temps in the upper 90s, our water temp decreased to 84deg! IT felt amazing! The unit is so easy to install. We had to use our threaded ring instead of the one provided, but now, we just put it on when the water starts to get hot, and remove it when it gets too cold...which is incredible that it actually DOES get too cold sometimes.....has gotten down to 82 deg...which feels pretty cold on a hot summers day. I highly recommend it! We did keep the 2nd one, just in case something happens to the one we use now...I never want to be without this !!! Amazing! AMAZING! AMAZING!

I have standard returns and got this item so I would not to take the pool fitting off. It does not fit. First the pipe going into the return got caught if the lip where the ball on the return rests. Cut that a bit but then the screw in fitting does not have enough of a lip to grad the pool wall return threads. Complete waste of $55

I purchased two of the Pool Coolers in the heat of the summer when the water temperature in the pool his 94 degrees. They were easy to install and within a couple of days the pool temperature was back down to 88 degrees. During the remaining summer months as the outside temperature would change, I would take the Pool Coolers off and reinstall based on the temperature of the pool as leaving it on would drop the temperature too much. The Pool Coolers are a great way to economically drop the water temperature of a pool.

24' composite, Hard sided, semi inground pool with Intex 3000 gph pump using 2" PVC plumbing. This thing sprays just shy of the edge of pool on outer rows. The biggest problem I see is no way to easily swirl pool water or use spray bar. Need to unscrew and remove my eyeball ring from spray bar and re-install circulation jet. This could've been pretty simple back-forth changeover except the Non-standard PVC sizes will make any mods difficult to impossible. Secondly, the top piece with the holes blows off unless it is glued so no trial run and return when you realize this thing may not be your cup of tea. Third, water trickles down the bar from irregularities in the holes and makes its way to the ground, slowly but steadily lowering my water level. Still working out possiblities while the manufacturer enjoys my $35.

I have not been able to us ethis yet. I have to find an adapter fromthe pool to the pipe. Honestly this can be made for $10

These do work! Cooled pool from 86 to 79, which for me is perfect. They do not tighten enough to hold themselves up, but I rigged up a bracket. Also they helped drop the water level with minor leakage when the pump is on low power and the water trickles on to the deck. Pool was way full after all the rain we had so this helped. The picture is with the pump at low power. These spray hard and far with full power. Recommended. One star off for not holding themselves up.

We live in the houston area. Our unground pool was HOT. Miserably hot. Got this just to try. After running it a few days, the pool was noticably cooler. My daughter actually asked to remove it because the pool was “cold”. Her definition of cold and mine are different, but well worth the money. We did have to make an adaptor from supplies from Lowe’s to get it to connect, but ut was easy enough for my husband to do.
