This is a very beautiful and hefty pen that is an excellent gift or for the occasional signing and writing in cursive. Unfortunately, it's cap fits very awkwardly on the end of the pen when writing, throwing off the valance. Additionally, the grip is very slick, so it's hard to hold onto. Given that you need to press harder with a ballpoint pen, the grip and weight issues make this pretty unusable.

Wonderful pen. My wife is using it often. The 6 refill cartridges a real plus.
