The mat lost it's stickiness after only a few uses - disappointed.

I just tried to use this new mat for the first time in my Scan n Cut SDX225 machine...the machine is not recognizing the mat and will not load it. The machine's software is updated, I cleaned the scanner glass and it still will not load. :-{Update/correction: After discussion with a representative at Brother, I learned that this mat would not load because it is not compatible with the SDX225 machine. I had to order the appropriate mat!

Brother Mats are known for being less then so to speak, don't last long, stickiness issues, etc so cost vs quality is always a poor value, but that's a brother issue not a seller issue. The seller however did an awesome job of protecting the mats, shipped flat in a large box with lots of protection inside the box! I was extremely impressed by the packing! Previous mats have come loosely rolled with no protection just dropped in a box, or like the 12x 12 mays I've got from other sellers will come in a big bubble wrap envelope and the shipping carriers will bend them to make them fit in a mailbox ugh. No worries with that with this seller! Product deserves a 2-3 starts max but seller deserves 5+!!

They are super sticky! And work great!However……..The cost is a bit pricey and while other machines may allow for using other mats, brother makes sure you can’t……and perhaps there is a reason, but that is like apple gluing their products shut so that you can’t work on them, sometimes we can’t afford a newer mat, and sometimes even though they have a built in pressure sensor…….the mats get cut through…..😕
