Very sturdy, but you need tools to install it.
I put mounts on my motorcycle for my cameras, and this double ball mount works well for that purpose. But once it is installed with the u-bolt mount (there are two for different-sized tubing--handlebar or engine guard), you'll need the same spanner to move it if you want to relocate it elsewhere. Like many camera mounts, every vibration is going to come up through the mount to the camera. This one has a cushion between the camera and the first ball mount, but it isn't going to reduce vibration. There's also double-sided tape to put around the bar where the U-bolt is going to go, so this is a somewhat semi-permanent mounting arrangement. Good if that's what you need. I like to move my cameras around, so looked for one with an easier release system to move the mount. Digging in tool bags isn't high on my list.

Solid mount for bikes
I got this to mount a GoPro on my bike handlebars. It follows the design of the classic RAM mount which I've used before on motorcycles. Nicely built and sturdy. A good value option to the original.Three core parts:1) The tripod/GoPro head. You can attach directly to action cam fingers or thread it off and screw into a tripod hole. It comes with a finger bolt2) The middle arm and clamp. This allows you to position the camera anywhere within reach of the arm for great flexibility. It also allows any angle within range for the camera on the head even if you use the tripod screw (which loses the pivot axis of the finger mount). This is a solid piece and a simple tightening of the large wing nut to lock in position. (Tighten until it doesn't move)3) Bar anchor: This is the only part that knocked a star off my review. It comes with two different sized options (good) and they are nicely made. But they don't come with any sort of soft surface for contacting the bars. They are probably fine for steel motorcycle bars, but on the anodized aluminum bike bars, I put a bit of gorilla tape in the curve to protect the bars. It would be nice if it came with a bit of rubber surface. The other niggle is that you must thread the nuts down the bolt to tighten. Due to tight quarters, this is a bit of a nuisance. But allen key heads would have been nice (but require a different design). They do ship both a wrench and rubber caps for the bolt ends.Overall a nicely executed kit.

Decent Camera Mount
Not bad quality, it is sturdy design and parts, but I would have preferred a rubberized ball like Ram Mounts uses for better grip though. I might plastidip the ball to improve the gripping surface of this one knowing that will eventually wear off, but seems like it would be helpful.I will also say that this 1" ball is too small for Size B Ram Mount items as well. So used solo it seems good and has a lot of versatility from positioning and the ability to use different camera mount types. Comes with two different size u-bolt mounts for flexibilty as well.

Works great, almost exactly what I needed
The way this mounts -- with a u-bolt, there is very little possibility that the clamp will have catastrophic failure where you're camera (or other device) will completely fall off. But the u-bolt mount doesn't have any sort of grippy pad so it tends to slip around unless you apply a lot of torque on the lock nuts. After installing the mount so that it doesn't slip, I could see that I had damaged the surface I mounted it on. The other pro/con about the way this mounts is that you need a tool to unmount the ball head. A casual thief can't remove the ball head without a tool. Unfortunately, you also can't remove the ball head without a tool. Of course, no thief is going to be interested in stealing the ball head, and removing the camera is quick and easy with the thumb screw/knob.The balls and clamp have a texture that helps keep them from moving around. That seems to work well, but it's not as smooth as balls/clamps with rubber coating. I expect that this ball/clamp will be more secure than rubber coated balls/clamps since this is metal on metal. The balls and clamp are slightly smaller than similar clamping systems. The ball/clamp accessories from other systems aren't compatible with this clamping system. That's unfortunate, because I got this mounting system to be used with accessories from another ball/clamp system.

Works great with my GoPro on my HD RGS
For me it's a great handle bar mount for my 2022 HD RGS. Installation was a breeze. It maintains its orientation (with my GoPro Hero7 Black) over bumps and rough roads without the need to over-tighten it... just nice and snug does the trick. Simple and perfectly functional.I noticed other reviews stating how the handle bar clamp could damage the handle bar. I did not observe this. The two pieces that grip the bar have no rough or sharp edges. In fact, I found myself questioning the material itself. I assume it is metal but the black coating gives the pieces a "soft-ish" feel. I tightened the clamp snug... i.e. did not apply a lot of torque and have had no issue with slippage. I have verified that no damage has been done to my handle bar. (NOTE - this is for my bike. I cannot speak for other handle bar designs.) However, this issue seems to have been addressed since my kit included a short strip of "Double Coated Tissue Tape" that can be affixed to the handle bar. I did not use this tape myself. The pictures on the Amazon product page are accurate and helpful though they do not mention the tape for the handle bar mount.

Nicely designed and built, good mounting options
Metal body, sturdy connectors and super easy to mount. I put it on the right side of my motorcycle handle and I love its ability to extend enough to the side. I have a large windshield on my bike, so it is key that I have various (nearly infinite) adjustment options for various angles for optiman shots. One thing that is really nice as well is that they include two sizes of mounting hardware so that you can use on motorcycles which normally have a thicker tube, or on a bicycle that has smaller diameter tubes. And you can go back and fort between the two if you wish. I hope that sharing my opinion and experience here provides you some value when shopping and deciding on something like this camera holder, if so please let everyone know below.
