Very satisfied with this product. I use it for multiple purposes....laundry additive, making my own house cleaning sprays and creams....it's just good stuff to have instead of all the nasty chemical ridden name brands.

I use this to make powdered dish washer detergent. I’ve purchased others that are clumpy. This brand is fine grain and free flowing. It works well to make my concoction.

So if the soap flakes don’t dissolve in cold water, then the washing soda will not be useful to me either. I need a washing detergent alternative for all washing temperatures. However, I did go ahead and try the recipe on warm water and hot water clothing items. No color bleed, no color fading and clothes are far cleaner than my so called “top” brand.UPDATE: I tried other recipes without soap flakes and found that the soap flakes do provide the added ingredient needed for a clean laundry results. I will continue to buy the washing soda ash and the soap flakes too.

I have some old kitchen hand towels that have a lot of white in them that I just love, however they never look clean anymore. I bought that soda ash and it really helped. (Prior to this product I've tried bleach, peroxide and soaking.)

I BOUGHT THIS TO ADD TO MY HOMEMADE DISHWASHER DETERGENT. THIS WAS AN ESSENTIAL INGREDIENT. WORKS GREAT. NICE ADDITION TO MY DETERGENT.
