Having emptied my bank account buying the GoPro I wanted to have the option to video for longer, notwithstanding that the OEM battery supplied with the camera lasts a decent amount of time, I needed a budget friendly alternative. This package fits the bill perfectly for me. I appreciate that the OEM batteries supplied with the 12 Black are optimised for cold weather use, but that is not the environment I shall be using my camera in. The charger takes 3 batteries, so the two in the pack and the OEM battery. The batteries seem to last as long as the OEM one at room temperature. So I am very happy with my purchase.
