If you like Strats you will like this Great guitar!
Not sure we’re to start. I like Stratocasters have had several currently a player series plus top hss and an American ultra start sss . This se silver sky is a great guitar. Its light sounds great. Every bit as good as ithe American ultra. (Hardward seems to be a little better on the ultra ) The fit and finish is excellent. Honestly if it didn’t have the plastic coated tuner knobs and volume tone knobs seem a little cheesy. The fret work, fitting is every bit if not better than the American ultra. I love to try the. American series silver sky. I suggest if your in the market for a strat may want to pick one of these silver sky’s up and try them side by side. You be impressed for the quality and price range these are fun and comfortable to play.

Great Guitar
If you've been thinking about a parlor acoustic, pull the trigger. I was torn between this and the Gretsch penguin. But the all magaginy body and the beautiful inlays of this guitar made me second guess, and I'm glad I did. The sound is amazing, especially plugged in. You can get a great diversity of sound. The only problem with this guitar is the tuners. They're super cheap and a bit prone to slipping. I did a simple cheap upgrade to some Grovers, and couldn't be more satisfied.

the PRS has better tone and feel than a strat at the same price point.

John and Paul nailed it!……best guitar I’ve ever owned or played!…
These SE silver Sky’s are money! Much better than any Mexican fender Strat…….the neck radius is so good. Before I bought one, I went to guitar center and tried a core and an SE…..needless to say I felt more comfortable with the SE…….the intonation is amazing, as are all PRS guitars…….fret work is superb, neck is straighter than an arrow, and tone is as good as my vintage’61 strat……I actually prefer to play this over my ‘61!……..I can see why the silver sky is the #1 selling guitar in the world!…………if you haven’t bought one yet, your truly missing out! It made my playing experience oh so much better!……….i find myself playing it every chance I get……….i ordered a tortoise pickguard but am waiting for my JM silver slinky’s to install it……..I also ordered a core truss rod cover….

Great axe!
I love this guitar! Plays and sounds great and is a real beauty. I was told it could be a couple of weeks before I received it, but it was there in just a couple of days! You won't be disappointed.

Great Quality and Sound
Love this guitar. It was delivered quickly and had a lot of protective packaging. The fit and finish is very good and the sound is great for how much this guitar costs. Could not recommend more.

Quality Control Issues
Overall I like this guitar when it is playable. That said, to remove the factory plastic cover requires remove the knobs. And doing that, WITH EXACTLY THE INSTRUCTIONS FROM PRS, resulted in the pot knob posts coming out entirely instead of the knobs sliding off. PRS provided new pots of the original (poor) quality. I upgraded to CTS pots and have a playable guitar again, but expected way way better from PRS. Poor components, build quality, and quality control.
