Great, temporary adhesion!
I purchased this not for transferring vinyl letters, but for transferring ceramic mosaic tile. I didn't know if it would work well, but it indeed did it's job well.My mosaics are custom and laid out on paper first. Using this material, I was able to apply it to the surface of the finished design, and lift and move the mosaics over onto the board to which they would be mounted. After being glued in place and with enough time for the glue to dry, I'd remove the vinyl without trouble. This material worked great as I need to see the mosaic design to best install it on site. The traditional way is with brown paper and paste. It's got some limitations. If you choose to use this for a similar purpose, here are four tips:1. Make sure you are not moving more than about a square foot at a time. If you design is big, divide up the design into pieces around 12" x 12". The clear vinyl allows you to see your design when you reassemble it as it's glued down with thinset. Cut apart at the grout lines.2. Make sure to burnish down the vinyl. It sticks best to the ceramic surface when pressed with a burnishing tool, the type used for vinyl letters is the best.3. Only apply the vinyl when you are going to glue the tile in place within a day. The vinyl sticks well to ceramic only for a day or so. After that, it looses it's ability to stick, and your tiles will fall off the back.4. If you leave it on the installed tile for more than a week afterwards, and it is being walked on, it may do the reverse of loosing it's sticking ability and stick so much you'll need to remove the adhesive with acetone.Good luck!

This is some of the best transfer paper I've used.
I was going to give 4 stars because it don't have any backing paper but as I was using it I noticed it don't trap air, that's a big plus for me so I gave 5 stars cause I realize it don't need backing paper. I will order again.

Total trash (ended up in my trash)
The worst transfer tape I have ever purchased, you will never be able to cut it to the size you need, you have to cut a random shape and then hope it doesn't fold over or rip when you're taking it off. It usually ripped when I was trying to open the roll in general. It did not stick to my vinyl stickers, even after pressing it on, it noticeably came off and other times that I tried, it ripped or had bubbles. Do not get transfer tape without paper on the back, huge waste of money and time.

Good Quality, But Too Much Tack for My Needs
This clear transfer tape is definitely high quality and well-made — you can tell it's durable, and I appreciate that it's made in the USA. The size of the roll is generous and it cuts easily, which is a plus for larger projects. However, I had a hard time getting my vinyl to release properly during application. I know it’s advertised as medium to high tack, but in practice, it felt more like an extremely high tack. The grip was so strong that I struggled to get the vinyl to come off the tape cleanly, even with firm pressure and a good scraper. It might be great for certain types of vinyl or specific projects, but for me, it was a bit too aggressive. I’ll be looking for a lighter tack option next time. Three stars for the quality and value, but a heads-up if you’re working with more delicate or intricate designs.
