Works fine.

I needed to do some network work at my house and couldn’t find my several other crumpets I had so I just figured I’d pick up a cheap one for the time being. I like that this came in a case for protection and less “loose ability”. I was actually very impressed that the build quality of both the Crimper and stripper were both top notch. Just as good as ones I’ve paid 3 times the price for. Did everything I needed it to do and nicely packed backup in its box and in my IT toolkit for next time

Crimpers work great, probe works good, but the RJ 45 connectors are not pass through, and the ethernet splitter only allows one connection at a time. Overall good deal.

This crimper does not work!! I spent over 4 hours crimping RJ45 connectors trying to get just one that would work. No success. Looked each connector over very carefully trying to determine what I was doing wrong. Tried everything I could think of with no success. Cut three fingers on the very sharp blades attached all over it. Went through 12 or 14 connectors, all tested "no connection" or "some connections" but nothing consistent. Finally, looking at the last finished connector with a magnifying glass I discovered that the crimper plate (or whatever it's called) that pushes the puncheons through the insulation into the wires was not pushing in far enough to make contact with all the wires. I looked at all the connectors I had used up to that point and saw that sometimes some of the wires on one side would make partial contact but the others would not. Sometimes the tester showed that none of the wires made contact. In any case, all connectors were useless. Squeezing extra hard while closing the tool had no effect. I even tried putting a shim in above a connector so the plate would be able to push a little further into the wires. All with no success. Very close examination shows that the little "table" that pushes the little puncheons into the wire appears to have a "squisy" movement that it should not have. I appreciate Amazons easy return policy and I've already started that arrangement. In any case, I found out how handy it is to have on of these around, so I'm going to order another one. But, it sure won't look like this one! The little tester was a life-saver because I didn't have to get up to take each completed connector to the equipment for testing, I could do it right there.

Very happy with this the crimper works as it should it has a easy to use guide and the tester works as it should great value for your money

i would not buy this for an every day thing but i got this to be able to cut/terminate bass knobs for car audio (amp installs). this works great for that and came with everything i needed.

I like that this comes with a case and that the wire strippers work well after adjusting them. We bought 2 of these and BOTH do NOT work as they should. We tried adjusting them but they are just unusable junk. DO NOT BUY! I have other name brand ones that work fine, I just wanted to buy 2 for the price of 1 name brand but that looks to be an unreasonable expectation so returning these and buying others.
