Andrea Lash Accent Pair 318 (Pack of 4)

I must confess, I'm an absolute disaster when it comes to applying false lashes. The list of possible issues is nearly endless but can be summed up by saying that when I apply lashes usually end up looking like a glue filled, crooked disaster with one eye glued partially shut. Welllll, not with these babies! The strip is approximately half the length of other lashes and the pop right on! In addition, they are the absolute perfect length; long enough to look really feminine and pretty but not so long that they look obviously fake. I wear these both in the day, and in the evening.Oh, and just in case you're a novice like me, here's the technique I use:1. Take a good black eye pencil (I like urban decay's Perversion), and use it in the waterline and in between the lashes of the upper eyelid. This keeps the whole lash line area looking uniformly dark and lush.2. Use a black liquid eyeliner, preferrably one with that hybrid of a brush/felt tip pen like Kat Von D's liquid liner right along the lash line. Make the line a bit thicker than you'd usually do if you weren't wearing false lashes. This line is great because the dark makes it impossible to notice if when you glue your false lash on it isn't perfectly snuggled up against your own lashes.3. Apply black mascara. I use quite a bit of in on the inside half of my eyes so that my lashes blend right in with the falsies, and just a hint of it on the outside half to make the color of my natural lashes match the fake ones.4. Take the lashes and gently take both ends of the lash and manipulate the band to soften it (watch a youtube video on lash application if you're not sure what I'm talking about) This makes the band less rigid so it will conform to the shape of your lid.5. Use Duo's dark/black glue. Again, this keeps the whole area dark and uniform to keep any imperfections from being noticable.6. Once you have the glue places along the band of the lashes wait 30 seconds or more to let the glue settle and get a little bit tacky. I don't know that it really helps, but I blow on it during that time, if nothing else it makes the time go faster.7. Then put the lash in the outer corner of your eye. If needed I use a tooth pick to nudge the corners into place or slightly adjust the positioning.8. If needed, add a little more eyeliner to smooth out the area where the lash ends and it transitions into your own lash, and BOOM! Beautiful and reasonably natural looking lashes.

I'm not well aquatinted with falsies. I've never worn them before, so these are my first -- and after a bit of fumbling to get them on, I can say that they probably look fantastic! I'm self conscious on a good day, so if I'm going to be entirely honest here I'm afraid to be seen in them (sad, I know, but I'm still working on the whole 'be confident in yourself' bit), but that is in NO WAY a fault of the product! The lashes were much easier to apply than I'd expected - I've heard falsies can be a nightmare, these only took me a couple of minutes to get right - and the band holding them on is practically invisible. They aren't too uncomfortable either! I've heard that after a couple of hours you won't even notice them on; it's great if that's true, but if it isn't, oh well. These don't bother me. They aren't super heavy or cumbersome. I will say that they've been catching on my hair, though, since my fringe falls into my face. Hopefully that won't be too much of a problem (don't want them to get pulled off or moved around).Do they look natural? I don't know. I can tell I'm wearing them, but I haven't shown them to anyone yet (today is my first day with them on, it's 9 am, I don't have work, and my boyfriend is out running errands), so who knows if they're noticeable enough someone would look at me and think "that woman has fake lashes on". I do know that they are MUCH subtler than the thick, long, dramatic falsies I'm used to seeing, and according to everyone here who is actually familiar with lashes, they look natural -- so I'd take stock in their opinions more than mine. I'm just not used to it, and I get nervous when I put on any makeup at all haha!

They don’t really work well while all in one piece so I cut the inner part off/in half and use the longer ends. Otherwise I feel like they’re not curved enough to stay on well.

Love these! They look very natural and not fake at all. The quality is very good and it’s worth the money. I would buy this definitely again!!

These lashes will give your eyes a little lift without using a full lash. I used them for a party, and they stayed on very will with Duo lash glue. The accent lashes are also much easier to remove in my opinion.

When I ordered these I expected them to be much longer then they actually are. Theyre no longer then my natural lashes now :/ Although they are really well made and would be great lashes if they were longer, they just dont work for me. They look like they could be really good for asian eyes and woman with very short lashes

I love these lashes. Just as described, they simply ACCENT your eyes. So you can wear them during the day without it being screamingly obvious that you have fake lashes on. People never know I’m wearing them, just that my eyes look extra pretty that day. I’m showing before and after with the same eyemakeup so you can really see the difference that only the lashes make. The shorter strip also makes it much easier and faster to put them on than fullStrips are. Again making them great for everyday use.

Everyone thinks I have lash extensions when I wear these. They’re extremely lightweight and easy to wear and they’re perfect for my hooded eyes. Really lift up the corners without wearing down the rest of my eyes. If you’re like me and can’t wear the baddie full lash-effect strip lashes (as much as I lovee that look), try these out. I love that I get a pack of 4!
