Absolutely perfect for creating flashcards! I've purchased many of these over the years.Pros:- Metal ring (snaps open and closed) organizes cards; keeps them together for studying on the go, I just throw it in my backpack- Already perforated and have holes punched in the top; saves time- Convenient- Decent size cards- Blank on the front and lined on the backCons:- Size of cards once torn in half limits how much you can write on the back; there are only a couple of lines, which is fine if you don't need to write much- I really wish each set came with 2 rings so I could separate the cards in different stacks for different classes when necessary (I've actually ended up buying just the binder rings for this purpose)- Pricey; you're paying for the convenience

I have it hanging in my kitchen. Im always making notes of things to do tomorrow, stuff needed from store etc. I use this now and makes it nice to only have to tear half a card off for smaller notes

At first I was thinking...crap this is too much money for a bunch of index cards. But then...what the hell. I don't have time to make them. When I got them in the mail and saw how many and looked at how many freaken single holes I would have to punch (in the same spot...mind you) and how many cards I would have to cut into two (at the same size mind you)...I thought wow this is probably the best purchase I have made this year. Go ahead and just order one if you don't believe me!

I am picturing using these as a hard copy of websites rolladex perhaps user names passwords ect in alphabetical order when i get around to it it seems like it would be perfect for that and easy to add edit. My daughter uses the full size card for her spanish flash cards required by school. We are both happy.

The second set of holes make them only half usable because the second punch went right in the middle of the perforation. Do not recommend at all.

This is a great product for memorizing and I find it very helpful. I can easily put the half-cards on the ring and place it in my pocket so I have them with me to look at when I have time. They're very convenient.

These serve the purpose of providing students with a smaller area for writing, or providing a quick resource for words/definitions. However, they are not cheap.
