My new favorites - finally without sugar added
Due to certain medical issues, I have a limited diet. Luckily, I can have almond butter which is great because I love it.I like to carry the little packets of it with me so I have bought the Barney Almond Butter packs before, but those contained sugar which is a problem for me. These contain no sugar at all.I was so disappointed because I liked the way the Barney butters were packed (and tasted) so I had been buying another well-known brand of almond butter that comes in a variety of flavors that comes in a packet that you have to squish around to loosen and blend the nut butters with their oils. One of their offerings was their plain almond butter with no sugar. Squishing their packets around was not that big a deal but I found that I was never able to get them that smooth and it was a little bit of a hassle and messy to boot to squeeze the butter out.So when I saw that Barney Butter now comes without sugars I was thrilled and I got them. They are so tasty and so easy to open - no mess and you don't have to blend or stir them around before you use them.I don't eat much at a time so I find that there is plenty of almond butter in each one for me, but it may be an issue if you really like to pile it on.So highly recommended. I have a couple in my purse and in my car; especially good for those times when you're really hungry and need a healthy hit of energy and protein.

Inaccurate description
When I ordered this it's said 6 cups pack of 6. I got one pack for 30 dollars. From what I read I thought I was get 6 pack of 6 for 30 dollars. 30 dollars for 6 cups is ridiculous i wouldn't have bought it if I had known I was only getting 6 cups. This is a total rip off.

but the butter in one cup would scarcely be enough for one side of half a bagel (for how I like to slather up a bagel)
Tasty natural almond butter, but a bit overpackaged and overpriced. The "bare" in the product name refers to absence of added salt or sugar. This may taste a little bland to some folks; tastebuds and preferences vary, but so many pre-packaged foods are heavily salted and oversweetened that natural foods will taste "strange" to most Americans. To me, this tastes distinctly of almonds, but still very mild. So plan to have it with something, or on something. The packaging suggests pairing with a bagel or celery, but the butter in one cup would scarcely be enough for one side of half a bagel (for how I like to slather up a bagel). For a healthy snack, I just eat it with a spoon (it's neither as sticky nor messy as peanut butter).Note the butter (like all natural nut butters) separates a little when it sits (the oil settles out), so you may need to give it a little bit of a stir to recombine, if you care about such things. These small portions are individually sealed for convenience, but the ratio of packaging to actual nut butter feels excessive. Maybe the vendor could produce slightly larger servings, or use less cardboard in the outer box, or pack them as 12-counts, or use 100% post-consumer recycled materials, or something. I expect there's a decent overlap between people who care about their ecological footprint and people who want to eat healthy -- hopefully Barney will make additional effort to cater to that overlap. So, if you're eating almond butter because you like the flavor (or because you're trying to be healthy)? You'll like this, at least if you need to eat on the go. But if you're eating almond butter because you have peanut allergies? Maybe choose the salted (not "bare") version of the product which tastes more like a peanut-butter substitute. And if you just want to eat almond butter and don't need it to be ultra-portable? Pick a different version in a bigger container, that doesn't produce so much waste nor cost quite so much per ounce.

So Convenient!
I love almond butter and I love the fact that it’s made in America. (Fresno, CA) It is nice to enjoy foods and products that are made in our own country. The almond butter itself is delicious, pure, and the individual cups make it very convenient. I personally like taking almond butter to work with a sliced apple and having it for a snack in the mornings. It tastes wonderful and I feel like I am eating very healthy. My granddaughter loves them as well and it is an easy, convenient, quick snack to have around when she comes to visit.

Great almond butter taste (no added salt or sugar), but wasteful packaging
I don't have peanut allergies, but sometimes it's nice to have something different than "plain old" peanut butter and jelly. For my almond butter needs, I tend to buy Jason's or MaraNatha, but variety is the spice of life! Each package contains a serving of almond butter - which is much smaller than I am accustomed to (but then, I also have two slices of bread in a sandwich and that is also more than one serving). I specifically used this on some gluten-free crackers, Mary's Gone Crackers (I'm not gluten-free, it was the one cracker I could find that I thought might taste good with almond butter) and the Lundberg Wild Rice Cakes. The crackers was a hit/miss - not too surprising IMO as they were dense. I think a more buttery cracker might be better. But the rice cakes are DELICIOUS with the almond butter.I must admit, while I enjoy the almond butter and like the fact it's individually portioned, I feel there is quite a bit of waste with this packaging. Compare this to Justin's single serve nut butters - they are simple plastic "bags". Easy to get all the almond butter out of, doesn't take up as much room in the garbage or your lunch bag, and also quick to recombine the oils and the nut butter.I wouldn't mind buying this nut butter again or checking out this brand; as for this specific individual sized product, I would pass. I like individually portioned products, but this makes me feel incredibly wasteful.

LEAK ALERT!
I bought these and the oil leaked out entirely into my lunchbox and onto all my items. If you buy them, be prepared to place them into a ziplock plastic baggy for safety otherwise you will have *OIL* all over everything!!!!!!!
