I've had a gel cushion for quite some time and it finally wore out. When looking at options to get a new one, I decided to get a larger one so ordered one (not this one). It was a real disappointment, made of honeycomb flexible plastic that did give when you pushed on it in one place, but felt hard as a rock when you sat on it. I returned it and ordered this one because the photo looked like the "gel" lines were thicker. Turns out they were -- and they are actual gel like my original cushion. I do wish it was bigger, but the size was in the ad so I knew it was not one of the really large ones.

We live in southern Florida and everywhere we go we sit outside and NO PLACE has padded seats. I get it...they would get rained on, etc. We saw a group of people at one of our favorite restaurants with these and I actually went up and asked them where they got them. So here I am...we bought them and LOVE THEM!!! We keep them in our truck and use them all of the time! Very comfortable!!

I like this cushion because it helps me be a lot more comfortable in the stadiums and gyms I sit in to watch my grandchildren play ball. The only complaint, and it’s a small one, is that it’s pretty heavy to carry. But I guess that’s why it works. I have a smaller, lighter one for my car and it’s pretty good but it is after all resting on a cushioned leather seat. I have to have something cushioned to sit on as I have lost 96 pounds and my doctor says I have lost my “cushion”. 😂

I may have to return this. It is comfy for sure but it slides forward in my office chair and twice now when I sat down it slipped off the chair and I landed on the floor! It needs a way to secure it to the chair! I have nearly fallen out of the chair more times too. Not happy. I sew and can make a cover for it with ties to hold it in place but that sucks.
