I have active life style and take Rehydration drinks in the summer heat avoiding tea and coffee for energy. I want them sugar and caffeine free. So I decided adding the salts that are normally prepackaged in IRS and taste awful into my diet or drinks such as lime soda that I take with Stevia instead of sugar. This potassium chloride replenishes energy levels really well. It tastes salty and quite pleasant. I ate it just on a cucumber and it taste just fine, almost like weak salt. No smell. Packaging is great. I appreciated plastic container instead of the zip bag. Price in compatible. It's now a new staple next to stevia. Appreciate the seller.

Taste is usual salty! But not like NaCl. It's different. Otherwise a good product.

It balances sodium. We need equal amounts of sodium and potassium. I take approx 1/4 tsp of potassium to balance the sodium.

I bought this to help with prolonged water fasting. used it twice with himalayan salt during keto and IF. i think its works well and does not break ketosis.
