A good accessory for closed loop bands :)
For what it is and the price point I have no complaints. I wish it was a bit wider but all in all I am satisfied with this for a light weight (suitcase packable) band work out accessory...Simple and effective.

Solid and a great addition to my home gym .

Great bar for a good price.
I use the iron infidel loop bands, and this bar will accommodate their thickest band. I wish the ends were ball bearings, but that would probably double the cost. No issues, though. The bar is excellent. One piece and quite sturdy, and at an affordable price.

Great bar for resistance bands
Well built bar, easy to take apart and pack in your bag for travel. One of the better bars out there for resistance bands

Mixed Impressions on the J Bryant Fitness Resistance Band Exercise Bar
The J Bryant Fitness Resistance Band Exercise Bar is a product that initially presents itself as a reliable and sturdy accessory for those looking to enhance their workout with resistance training. From my experience, the bar exudes a robustness that commands confidence, able to withstand the rigors of a strenuous exercise routine without showing signs of immediate wear or degradation. Upon unboxing and during the initial usage phase, I encountered no issues that would give me pause. The heavy-duty nature of the bar suggests a thoughtful design aimed at durability, crucial for the high-tension exercises it's intended for. Its large hooks are particularly noteworthy, suggesting a capacity to handle substantial loads without buckling. However, my satisfaction with the product was short-lived. The flaw became apparent only after the return window had closed, which was not just inconvenient, but also concerning. The strap, a vital component that connects the hooks to the bar, began to show signs of fraying. This is no small matter; the integrity of the strap is paramount, as it bears the brunt of the tension during workouts. Fraying suggests a potential safety hazard, where a complete failure could result in injury. This defect is a significant blow to the overall perception of the product. It raises questions about the quality control measures taken by the manufacturer and the longevity one can expect from the product. For a piece of equipment designed to support an individual's weight or resist force, any compromise in material strength is unacceptable. In summary, while the J Bryant Fitness Resistance Band Exercise Bar impresses with its initial sturdiness and the promise of a heavy-duty workout companion, the material quality, specifically the durability of the strap, falls short of expectations. The fraying issue is a glaring oversight that overshadows the product's positive aspects and makes it difficult to recommend without reservations. Potential buyers should be aware of this risk and consider the long-term reliability of the product before making a purchase.

Very effective and comfortable
In really like the feel of it and the straps can be tightened. No complains for the price, it does make my exercises more effective as it's easy to hold the bar.

wokable lower cost alternative band-bar
its a little shorter than i would like but not prohibitive for use on a wide variety of exercises. the knurling isn't so aggressive as to tear your hands up but not exactly slick. its light weight makes it ideal for travel. i got this to use in place of a similar system with ropes and rotating bar ends. the open hook style as this one has, to me, makes switching bands much quicker and less tedious. the hooks arent really rough but i may wrap a layer of electrical tape over them just to not create as much abrasiveness on the bands. i have also been able to stack bands of different lengths with it to tweak tension curves. i am pleased so far...hopefully it will last a good while.

Resistance bar flaw
I purchased this item because of the width of the hooks which would allow quicker exchange of bands. My disappointment was in that the canvas band extender are too long and thus decreases the range of resisted ROM. This is a design flaw that could easily be remedied if the seller wishes to do so.

Yep, don’t get the x3 it’s a ripoff. I really like the hooks so I can change bands quickly. It’s sturdy, looks good, works very well, doesn’t tangle the bands, etc.

The bar itself is nice quality feels good and strong. The hooks themselves are also strong and accommodate a decent thickness of band. Probably the best alt to an X3 bar at this price point. However the strapping running through the bar that attached the hooks rubs on the inside of the bar. This begins to fatigue and show visible signs of wear on the strap, putting doubt into the longevity of it. Probably best for exercises wear the hooks won't twist eg. Bench press, shoulder presses. Exercises like bicep curls will cause the straps to rub against the tube causing the wearing. Almost very good but not quite. Id probably use this Geku bar over this for curling biceps, triceps, forearms etc and for bench press shoulder press and squats with the jbryant bar due to the hooks bending on the Geku under these heavier loads.

Good quality but elastics too long for average female use. Loved the idea of this setup but the elastics are just too long for me, have to wrap them several times on the loops to get the right length. Shame there wants an option according to arm length as it's a great concept

Great quality bar. Does all I need it to do. Love it. Comfortable. Nice and wide. I have no worries about the webbing and hooks. They do not seem to wear or rub. All good. I recommend them and have done so to a bunch of people I know.
