Sanlida Hero X8
Bought this for my 8 year old. Stabilizers seem to be pretty solid, and come with a double stack and single weight. Drop away rest timed easy and seems to work as it should. Replaced the Allen bolts in the draw modules with stainless Allen’s due to them being a little soft and stripping out easy. The sight bar isn’t very straight which was keeping the scope from being level. So had to do a little adjusting on the sight bar itself to get it leveled up. Arrows are 600 spine, 362 grain. Seem to all be fairly straight. Overall I think it’s a pretty solid bow.

This is the best Target compound bow package value for your money that i have seen!
I chose the 14/60 package to shoot archery tournaments! The bow is quiet, fast ,smooth, & Super accurate!one of my archery buddies named it "little White Lightning"! all of the accessories are top notch! to prove itI shot a 3 shot group at 20 yards with the package arrows in a 8 to 12 mph cross wind as per picture - withwitness - 2. I am a 81 year old amputee & if A old Cripple like me can shoot this bow with decent accuracyout to 60 yards - anybody can - Larry Hovey

Bargain price for a serviceable package
I ordered the 7-35 lb. draw weight model. Draw weight available is somewhat proportional to draw length selected. For example, at 25" length, draw weight is 24 lb. fully cranked down. At 27" length, draw weight is 30 lb. In retrospect, I wish I had bought the 14-60 lb model. This bow comes with most accessories needed for target shooting. Most of these seem rather cheap, but so far they are serviceable if not wonderful. The bow is nicely finished and rather attractive. The grip area is just the frame of the bow without any rubber or wood insert to make it more comfortable to hold.I would not choose this as my primary target bow, but as a bow to introduce a child or lady to the sport, it is a great value.

Smooth shooting at an affordable price
This is my first compound bow since I have a short draw length, I brought it to the archery range to have it tuned and adjust the peep. The owner took a few shots with it and said it is one of the most smoothies bows they ever shot. Would strongly recommend for adolescents or women with a short draw length

assembly instructions missing online and in box
everything is nice .I just don't understand how a company can sell products without any product information. I had to assemble by guessing how it went together. i would give it a 5 star rating for quality but this seems like a silly omission.

Terrible beginning beauty end
The product litterly combusted as I was adjusting the draw length . The manual barely explained how drawlength and draw weight works but at the end I spent a extra 200 dollars with bow techs and used it and it was ok.

Initial Review - Setting up the bow
The Sanlida X8 Target bow itself comes almost fully assembled. Very nice bow. Good weight and easily adjustable for draw length and draw weight. However, the bow sight, the arrow rest, and the stabilizers are not attached to the bow. The package included several little bags of bits and pieces (screws, rubber things, two nylon washers, a big cylinder thing, etc.) with virtually no instructions or diagrams that show where the bits and pieces go. I was able to figure some things out (sight and bow rest) from looking at the photos on the Amazon site, and was able to get the stabilizer weights and dampers put together (again, looking at pictures from Amazon). However, there are still several small items that I have no idea where they belong and it's not clear how to attach the rear stabilizer to the bow.I posted a question on Amazon asking if there were any photos or diagrams of where the bits and pieces go, and quickly received a response from the seller that was ridiculous - simply stating that all the screws are already installed on the bow. BS. See attached photo. And what about the rubber thing with adhesive on the back?I'd like to give this bow a five star rating, but based on the total lack of setup instructions and apparent poor responsiveness from the seller, I'm giving it a 4.Update: Sanlida has revised the manual for this bow. The new manual is light years better and addresses many of my issues noted in my original review.
