I used this wire for the bottom of my DIY planter boxes to keep moles out. It was easy to use. I love that it came with wire cutters, gloves and mending wire for larger areas. I used 1 roll for the base of two 4x8 planter boxes. It stretches somewhat to get a tight fit. It comes wrapped in plastic wrap with the tools in another bag. Compact and well packaged.

The squirrels have been devouring my garden this year! I keep my plants in plastic totes, so I used this chicken wire to build cages around my plants inside them. After realizing that the squirrels will climb under them too, I added lawn staples to attach them to the ground.Some comments said that this wire was thin, but I didn’t find it to feel any thinner than other chicken wire I’ve worked with.It was an amazing bonus that it came with the wire, wire cutters, and gloves. It was everything I needed to build my cages. The cutters made it easy to cut to size, and the wire was helpful for attaching it to itself in a loop and to secure the top piece to the sides.You do need to be careful of the sharp edges for safety, but I haven’t had any problems with it. The gloves are a good idea to protect your hands while working with it. I noticed that I also needed to be aware of where it is near my face while I was unrolling it because it can bounce around a bit. While I unwind it from the roll, I slightly bend it the opposite direction so it will start to lay flatter and be more workable. It is just wire so it will go where you bend it.It has been durable and done exactly what I needed it to do.

This worked wonderfully for our chicken pen while our coop is being built for our new little gals and guys.

I think they count the wire that is folded over at both ends of the roll in the overall length of the wire. Otherwise it's a nice kit. Small zip ties are a lot quicker than using the included wire. Nice gloves though.

This is just what we needed to keep critters off our plants. Sturdy and easy to use- comes with gloves and wire cutter. U ain’t gonna find this at home less depot

I had a family of groundhogs living in my backyard and they wouldn't leave no matter what I used. So I put this wire at the entrance and exit and they just come back everyday and stand at the entrance and try to get in but can't. Thanks I finally evicted them and my yard is safe again.
