Heavy Duty Rivnut Tool Kit NT800

I was in the middle of a job at the High end off road shop I work at. We needed a specific sized nutsert to go above an airbag for a roof rack. I saw these were small enough to work without sacrificing rigidity and strength. I ordered the product at 4pm it arrived at my doorstep the next morning at 8am so I was able to go to work with it and use it right away. The handle seems small compared to traditional nutsert tool. It still isn’t very hard to crimp the nutsert though and for things like side step or the photo I proved on a UTV frame, this tool can get literally almost anywhere and do a good job once it’s there. I’ve been on all the tool trucks, I don’t see anything close to this small and accessible of a product. Even if you only need it once every 5 years. Buying this one will let you have one of the best I’ve seen out there and the case it comes in with the selected nutserts it also comes with this kit will get ya going and keep ya going even for me In a full time professional job where we use these a lot. I haven’t even run out of of size nutserts and I believe it comes with about 8 choices.

This is a really nicely made and well engineered Rivet Nut gun. I have another rivet nut tool made by Astro which uses a socket drive, but this tool is a really great / simple addition. It worked particularly well with stainless M4 rivet nuts. The overall kit is great. The mandrills are all high quality. I will say that setting up the tool takes a bit of time to understand and to get it dialed in; however, once you do it works beautifully. I had the most luck taking the entire thing apart and then adjusting it while putting it back together. That works well. Add some oil to all the surfaces also. One thing I really like about this tool is you can feel how the rivet nut is squeezing down. You can also thread the nut in a bit during the squeezing process and gain additional installation squeeze. I used this tool one a very delicate sheet metal item and the ability to feel the installation of the nut was very helpful. All in all just a fantastic tool.

Great tool. Already made some things easier. Not sure why the odd mix of metric/standard measures. Would much more prefer having a metric kit and a standard kit. Other wise works great and see great value of having this long term for various projects.

Excellent kit to have very universal amount of selection.

The unit does a job, but I wish I had ordered one with longer handles. This particular one is difficult to squeeze hard enough to set the Hardware good design good construction.

Works very well. Box has smaller boxes inside well marked with all hardware. Amazing packaging and quality. Instructions on how to remove m8 adapter preinstalled were vague. Just unscrew by hand. I thought it was installed stripped from factory but i just didnt understand how to remove it. Works very well. Definitely recommend.

Woks great. I installed 20 3/8 rivnuts no problems! I really like the case, it’s very well labeled and organized!

I have used this on stainless steel rivnuts and steel rivnuts. It work great, the small size makes it easy to get into tighter areas. Main point is take your time if you rush you will either strip the rivnut or not compress it all the way. It could use a better nob to tighten and reverse the threads.
