Q: How do you get the hat off the doll? It can be twisted around and around but I am afraid to pull too hard for fear of pulling off her head.

It is very hard but I got mine off by just pulling it more at a angle and I held her head under the hat and then pulled at a slight angle its on a short post. She has a hole in her head obviously but you can't see it when the hair covers also make sure no hair is in the way of the hole when you go to put it back on. so it can go back in its just really hard the first time to pull out. Sorry I don't have a easier solution just be careful to secure her neck I was worried about pulling her head off as well. Like I said just hold her head as close to the base of the hat as possible and twist the hat a little and pull at a slight angle and mine came off with a pop it wasn't hard to put back and remove after the first time. Or you can heat up her head like a boil wash that may help id be leery of burning her hair or your head but hold her under hot water till the plastic softens a bit I don't like to do this for fear of messing the kinky hair do up.
