Calibrating the scale. any tips? was i supposed to buy weights? i’m so fresh to this. thank you for help, it’s not wasted.

You shouldn't have to calibrat your scales as long as what you are weighing is the only thing on the scales. If you have the item in a container you will want to weight the container empty then weight the item together and subtract the weight of the container or put an empty container on your scales and leave it there and set your scales to 0.00 to get the weight of the item being weighted. I hope this helps you.

Will it work on rough diamond in the field?

A diamond rather it’s uncut or cut, should register the same. Sorry we really haven’t had a chance to test it yet. Sorry we can’t help you more.
