Spice Drops Candy, Old-Fashioned Gumdrops, 6 Flavors Jelly Candy, 1 Pound

Hands down, these are the best spice drops my wife has had! Every year I try another brand, and this year these did not disappoint! I hope they are available next year as well.... I have a feeling she will want another bag when these are gone. The spice flavors are strong and vibrant. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!

Delicious. Old fashioned flavors. Even a sassafrass, which i did not remember. The candy does not stick to my teeth like the cheaper ones. Plus, the flavor is better. I'll order them again.

ABSOLUTELY AVOID THESE!! Bought my first bag of these a few weeks ago. Good spice gumdrops are a real addiction for me. I've always had a weakness for them. So I gave this brand a try. And the first bag was really good: nice spice kick, distinct flavors, bright colors, gummy but not hard and not mush. Just great. So I ordered two more bags. Huge mistake. Just came today, opened first one, and immediately noticed the colors were all faded looking. Tried some despite dull colors, and they were hard, not gummy. But main thing is flavor is vague at best, weak, not very spicy, and all taste about the same. About as bad as a spice drop can get. What the heck happened? Do they get these from more than one source? Did these sit in a warehouse for a year or two? Whatever it is, these are a huge disappointment. Not sure whether to open second bag, or just return them. Except when you go to return these, you find it says "This item isn't eligible for return". So $30 down the drain.

It seems like every local store has stopped carrying spice drops so I turned my search online. I read plenty of reviews of plenty of products and landed on this one. And I am half happy with my choice. These spice drops offer the classic flavors I am looking for and they taste great. But they do not offer the classic "mouth feel"/solidity/consistency that I am also craving. They are nice and fresh; for sure, but they are also way too soft. They practically disintegrate in your mouth and lack that firm chewiness that I want in a spice drop/gum drop. Not everyone will care about this, but I do. I like to actually just suck on the spice drops for as long as possible before I chew them...and these are not good for that. For me, these are a 3 star item, but I am looking for a certain thing that others might not be looking for...so I gave them a 4 star rating overall. These could even be a 5 star if you are looking for nice flavor and a sort of "melt in your mouth" consistency. The experience I have eating them reminds me of that old, jelly candy called "Chuckles" and I am not looking for that. I am looking for a classic, almost rubbery, gum drop. I enjoy these for what they offer but they do not meet my spice drop needs.

After trying different brands of Spice Drops, I found this brand to be the best, even though it does not have Licorice, that each one has a flavor that I recognized. I let the taste linger while slowly enjoying each drop. Reading the summary of reviews, for me the drops were fresh, soft and well packaged. (Just had a couple now.) Reminded me of spice drops when I was a kid.

It is hard to tell what flavor each color is. I was hoping red would be cinnamon, but it is some unknown flavor with a chemical after taste. Green was a big disappointment and didn't taste like wintergreen. I previously ordered this brand after trying others and was extremely happy with it. But now I'll never order these again.

Very fresh with great flavor.

The best spice gumdrops I have had. Just wish I would have gotten all 7.5 pounds. The flavors of these gumdrops were right on. The second bag, the gumdrops fall apart and the taste is awful. They are so bad they are inedible.

These don’t have the best flavour but they are not the worst that I have had. They are short on flavour I was lucky that only 1/3 of them ever arrived.
