I thought these would be cheap and flimsy but gave them a go - am I glad I did. Butter out of my fridge is solid and I have tried several more expensive knives to no joy. I have only had these a few days and they accept butter straight from the fridge (in big quantities) and spread on the bread with no problems at all. Yes they are plastic and not brilliant colours if I am honest, but work well they definitely do. They also slice scones and rolls very easily.Not for a dinner party and guests but for practical usage brilliant! Wish I had seen them years ago.

Good enough to do the job, only downside I never got the amount that is in the listing, 10 instead of 12 but never mind.

These are wonderful! They spread easily and quickly. No more butter or spread slipping off knife and having to go back for a bit more jam etc. With these you can butter a slice with one even swoop!!As there are twelve we handed a few to friends and rellies … all of which were well impressed. Highly recommend.

Spreads well without ripping the bread

These are my favorite type of butter knives. They spread whatever you are spreading wonderfully. These are better than your everyday "normal" butter knives that come with your silverware because they can hold more and they fit in your hands better. My kids love them as do my husband and myself. I have also put them through the dishwasher and there was zero damage to them so that is also a bonus as I run my dishwasher on high temp and heated dry.

These are great little spreaders for the price. Pretty tough to put up with regular use, nice to not have a serrated edge, as it means smooth coverage of whatever I'm spreading, love the bright colours, and I'm pleased with the number of them in the package, as I like to have these on hand at home, in the cottage, on the road, and elsewhere.

I ordered these for my young kids to have something safe to use to spread and cut things, and we ended up loving them and ordered another set.They were getting used up so quickly because they work for everything from butter, to frosting a cake, to cutting sandwiches, to spreading peanut butter, or just grabbing some peanut butter to eat out of the jar as a snack right off of the spreader.They are sturdy, not bendable or floppy, dishwasher safe, and so far they don't stain. They are edgy enough to cut tender meat on the plate but not slice your skin open if a kiddo was to brush against it. Just do not use them to stir or flip something hot in a skillet - the tip will melt - that was my bad.I kind of wish we had ordered something like this years ago. super handy to have in the kitchen drawer and they take up very little space.
