My camping stove uses the 1L Coleman propane tanks which are very expensive and hard to find in the UK. Now I can use the more common type of cylinders!Note: it does not work with the Campingaz brand as they don't have a screw top.

Bought to fit my camping gas bottles and works a treat.

Converts from disposable propane cartridges (USA type) that are a. Not always easy to find and b. Expensive in the UK, tothe common European screw type cartridge which with careful buying is half the price for the same amount of gas.The adapter has no stop valve and should be fixed to the appliance first and the gas cartridge fitted next when demounting hold the adapter and carefully detach the cartridge form the adapter. As the adapter is cheap and I have no intention of using the disposable propane cartridges I have Locktighted the adapter in place on the appliance.

Fits and works perfectly

Does exactly what it's advertised to do. I used it on a Coleman lantern & it worked fine.The only issue is that if the canister has to be disconnected before it's empty & the adapter stays attached to it, the gas will escape. This is made clear in the ad & is only an issue if the canister needs to be removed & the adapter doesn't stay with the appliance.The Coleman lantern fits in a carrying case when detached from the gas supply & won't fit into the case if the adapter is still attached, so it has to be removed completely & stored separately . A minor issue, but it does make it easier to lose the adapter.

Didn’t work as expected. When I screwed the small end into a gas canister it just emptied the canister. Good job I did it outside. I tried a second time with the other on that a bought with the same result. Waste of money.

Magnetic sealed okay, but needed extra push to release gas, doesn't work when let go, cans work ok, so no good for portable heater that uses magnets.
