BBR Tuning Heavy Duty 12 Gauge 26Inch x 1.25 Inch Front Bike Rim - Bicycle Wheel - Mountain Bicicleta

This did work as a direct replacement for my bicycle with some minor adjustments, but I anticipated some sort of adjustment needed since this was not the factory part. So far a great product.

Great rim, too bad wrong size

The front just like the rear came with every single spoke completely loose. The rim itself is also out of round. Every single item I’ve bought that came from Bikeberry has been complete garbage. Not sure why I thought these rims would be any different.

I received the wheel today and checked it out: All the spokes were tight and the wheel is straight. I opened the bearings and they were greased, but over-tightened. After stuffing more grease in and adjusting the tightness, it spun smoothly. I would recommend this product and suggest carefully inspecting before use. I like the heavy duty spokes.

The BBR wheel seems heavy duty but the quality is mediocre. Quality could be better for the price. Only recommend it for someone who can true the wheel as some spokes are very loose. The weld on the rim is dirty and has a slight bend in the area. The inside of the wheel has holes, Maybe they are from the construction process or used as relief holes for trapped water? I have never seen holes inside wheels before. (I put a bit of silicone on the holes and weld to help protect the inner tube) The spoke nipples are large so a thick/heavy duty rim strip should be used. Overall it will be better than my old wheel after tightening the spokes and getting it alignined. I rate it an 8 out of 10.

I’ve ordered these rims a few times and they seem to have gotten better. They’re using different style hoops in this wheel actually came with the spokes tight and the axle was not too tight. Good job 👏
