Build quality is standard, like any other steel rule. Reliable and usable. Personally, I use the 6 inch frequently and readability plus accuracy of pencil or pen lines are great. Whether on paper or wood. Engravings endure on the stainless steel. Edges are not sharp enough to cut and bleed. Recommending the 12 inch set, arriving with both the 6" and 12".

Great for crafting and scoring lines on card especially, robust and easy to read

I needed a ruler that has a zero point at the end (as opposed to the scale starting 1cm in). The engraving doesn’t wear out and the edge is great for cutting, see pic of cheap metal ruler for comparison. I repair guitars and often work to tolerances of 0.1 of a mm so the .5mm scale is very useful. The engraved scale is much easier to see as well. All this and then they Chuck in a free 6inch ruler as well! Altogether great value for money.

Use these for crafting and they are great. They are metal both sides and have a flat edge making it easy to measure from the edge of a page or project. The smaller one is thinner and shorter so really useful for smaller projects. They are sturdy and do not bend easily.
