If you love Bridgerton Netflix series, read these!
I just had to read these books after watching Bridgerton on Netflix many times. These are an easy read and give you insight into the characters. Not always exactly as the TV series was written, but nonetheless a good read.

Lived this series. Read them all. The characters are fun, lots of laughs and mystery inside these books

Awesome series. Better to buy the books separately.
Totally recommend. The hard bound collectible books, containing two books within the binding, are too big and unmanageable. This set is perfect for

I’m obsessed.
The Bridgerton series is my favorite book but the quality of these is amazing! Aesthetically pleasing and they shipped me the books without a scratch on them.

Overall Rating: Casual Read - 3.75/5 Stars
When He Was Wicked Bridgerton Summary: "When He Was Wicked" is a deeply emotional installment in Julia Quinn's Bridgerton series, following Francesca Bridgerton as she navigates the pain of widowhood and the complexities of second love. The story centers on her relationship with Michael Stirling, her late husband's charming cousin, who has silently loved her for years. As Francesca grieves and rebuilds her life, Michael struggles with his own feelings of loyalty and guilt, creating a powerful narrative of love, loss, and healing. This book explores themes of vulnerability and resilience, adding a poignant depth to the Bridgerton series. Review: I rated this book a Page Turner (4.0-5.0) with an overall score of 4.6 out of 5 stars. I created a custom rating system to consistently review Julia Quinn's historical romances, focusing solely on comparing her books with one another rather than the entire genre. My five categories—Authenticity of Historical Setting, Romantic Tension and Chemistry, Character Relationships & Growth, Engagement of Plot and Pacing, and Emotional Depth and Heartfelt Moments—allow for a tailored evaluation. However, I rated all books a four in historical authenticity, having already been influenced by the vivid imagery from the Bridgerton series. My scoring levels for Quinn's books include Page-Turner (4.0 – 5.0) for books that deliver a strong, compelling experience, Casual Read (2.5 – 3.9) for enjoyable books with some notable weaknesses, and Hard Pass (1.0 – 2.4) for books that fall short in multiple areas. "When He Was Wicked" stands out as a particularly compelling and emotional entry in Julia Quinn's Bridgerton series. This story explores the complex relationship between Francesca Bridgerton and Michael Stirling, her late husband’s cousin, who has harbored a deep, unrequited love for her. The book skillfully balances Francesca's journey through grief and her slow-growing affection for Michael, making for a captivating portrayal of love, loss, and emotional recovery. Although I loved this story, I found myself feeling a deeper sense of her initial loss after having seen her first marriage play out on screen, which added an additional layer of depth not fully explored in the book. With its touching blend of tension and vulnerability, this book remains a top favorite of mine in the series, offering a beautifully crafted romance with intense chemistry and genuine heart. To Sir Phillip, With Love Bridgerton Summary: "To Sir Phillip, With Love" follows Eloise Bridgerton as she impulsively decides to meet Sir Phillip Crane, a reclusive widower with whom she's been corresponding through letters. As she arrives unannounced, she finds Phillip to be much more reserved—and quite different—than she anticipated. The story unfolds as Eloise and Phillip navigate their contrasting personalities, complicated family dynamics, and a surprising attraction, leading them both to confront what they genuinely want in a partner and in life. Through heartfelt moments and humorous missteps, the story explores themes of personal growth and second chances. Review: I rated this book a Causal Read (2.5-3.9) with an overall score of 2.6 out of 5 stars. In "To Sir Phillip, With Love", the intriguing setup of Eloise Bridgerton impulsively visiting her mysterious pen pal, Sir Phillip, initially captivates with a sense of adventure and curiosity. However, their first in-person meeting is unexpectedly awkward, introducing a disjointed pacing that slows the romance's development. While Phillip's reclusive nature and Eloise's strong personality create an interesting contrast, the narrative feels uneven in tone, impacting the story's flow as it progresses. Despite this, the book offers enjoyable moments with Eloise's characteristic wit and humor, though it may fall short of the momentum one hopes for after such a promising hook. Watching Eloise's character grow and change on the Bridgerton television series may cloud my review of the book. I felt the Eloise of this book and the Eloise we see on TV were not the same characters. I am curious to see how this unfolds in the television series, as this love connection also means the death of a character from previous seasons of the show. It’s In His Kiss Bridgerton Summary: "It's in His Kiss" follows the spirited, witty Hyacinth Bridgerton, who has a tendency for mischief and mystery. She meets Gareth St. Clair, a man with a troubled family history and a journal from his late grandmother written in Italian, which he cannot read. Hyacinth, skilled in Italian, eagerly offers to help him translate it, sparking an intriguing partnership as they uncover secrets that bring them closer together. Their growing relationship is filled with humor, banter, and Hyacinth's boldness, making for an unconventional and adventurous love story within the Bridgerton family saga. Review: I rated this book a Causal Read (2.5-3.9) with an overall score of 3.6 out of 5 stars. In "It's in His Kiss", Hyacinth Bridgerton's inquisitive nature and undeniable chemistry with Gareth St. Clair make for a fun and engaging romance, particularly with the intrigue surrounding Gareth's mysterious family heirloom. Throughout the book, their partnership is both endearing and lively, with Hyacinth's sharp wit balancing Gareth's brooding nature. While the story flows well and builds their romance with plenty of humor and charm, the handling of the heirloom in the epilogue introduces a sense of "wasted time" as the mystery's resolution feels somewhat unresolved. Despite the epilogue's letdown, the book remains enjoyable, with solid character interactions that make it a memorable entry in the Bridgerton series. On the Way to the Wedding Bridgerton Summary: In "On the Way to the Wedding", Gregory Bridgerton believes in love at first sight and is captivated by Hermione Watson, a beautiful woman he meets at a party. However, Hermione's friend, Lady Lucinda "Lucy" Abernathy, warns Gregory that Hermione's heart is already set on another man. As Gregory's focus shifts, he and Lucy are drawn together, only to face challenges when she becomes engaged to another suitor. Through a series of twists and unexpected events, Gregory and Lucy must navigate their hearts to discover if they're truly meant for one another. Review: I rated this book a Page Turner (4.0-5.0) with an overall score of 4.2 out of 5 stars. "On the Way to the Wedding" combines charm, romance, and unexpected suspense, making it a memorable addition to the Bridgerton series. With intense character chemistry, Gregory Bridgerton’s journey is refreshingly genuine as he learns about the nuances of love. The unexpected twist near the end adds depth and emotional intensity, bringing a unique tension to the story that stands out among other Bridgerton novels. This well-paced, engaging story skillfully balances humor, romance, and drama, making it an enjoyable, satisfying read with just the right touch of Bridgerton charm.
