These are the sharpest knives I have ever had. Had to be very careful with them at first because I have never had such sharp knives. It’s been 7 months now and they are still very sharp. What a fantastic buy. I do put the large knives in the dishwasher and they don’t rust. We don’t really use the steak knives because we prefer non-serrated knives…so I can’t comment on how well they hold up, but I can say they are good looking and we use them when we have company.

The knives are very good and easy to use. The steak knives have no sharpening feature because they are serrated. I guess. I would rather have smoothe knives and sharpening feature.

I bought these knives about 4-5 years ago. They are the best knives I’ve ever owned. Daughter was down, used said knives, loved them, so I ordered her a set. She loves them. If I had to complain about something, which I have ZERO complaints, I’d say that the names stamped into each knife don’t last long. That’s it. And that’s not a deal breaker.

Very happy with this set. Based on the reviews from others, we’ve been careful to dry immediately after hand washing and have seen zero issues with early corrosion in the 1st 3 months. Out of the box, the chopping and slicing knives are very sharp, and they have good mass (my wife says they are a little too heavy for her liking). The sharpener in the block is effectively the fine/polishing bars from a knife sharpening block. It keeps the knives honed, though I tend to insert a few times when storing to make sure the polishing happens. I have sharpened the most used knives a couple times, but more out of habit to do that regularly than a real need for them to be sharpened.The knife block itself leaves a little to be desired. As many have complained, the exterior can be damaged easily. I sprayed it with a polyurethane clear coat to try and delay some of that wear/tear and I’m still in the habit of inserting knives carefully to not damage the block. I’m sure as time goes on, we’ll damage it plenty. At some point, the Gray could be sanded down and it could be re-stained. The knife block quality doesn’t match the knife quality in my opinion, but it’s not terrible. I’ve still given the set a 5 star rating based on the knives. The block itself would probably only get a 3 for durability and quality of materials reasons.

Bought as gift. Knives are very sharp, weights are very decent. We cook allot, use them allot..can't beat the self sharpener when you put away. Highly suggest.

The main large knife is not as sharp as I hoped, and I only used it less that 5 times, its not like I dulled the large knife. So, now I am only using the large knife for occasional use when I need to grab a knife real quick and don't wanna use my other large knife. I have another large knife for under $40 that serves me better when cutting food it was "super sharp" when first bought. Thus, kinda disappointing, but odd that I actually seldom use the large knife because I like the other knife I've had for 2 years, and when I tried this one for the first time, very surprised how "not sharp" it was. But, not a perfect world.Does look cool on my countertop, and the small steak knives I do use a lot for miscellaneous things.
