C.R. Gibson 'Sweet as Can Be' Perfect-Bound Memory Book for Newborns and Babies, 64 Pages, 1 Count (Pack of 1)

I love C.R. Gibson's memory books. We purchased our first one in 2015 before our oldest daughter was born. I enjoyed recording her memories because for as memorable as being pregnant, having a baby, and watching her grow is, it's extremely easy to forget tiny and special details. That's why purchasing a memory book is a great decision.I made the mistake of buying a cheaper book (same brand) for our new baby. I recorded in it before she was born and then went to update it after her birth and realized why it felt thinner than our other book. It was basic and only had one page for the first year. Our other book had a page for each month during the first year. So many memories and milestones happen during the first year that you truly need a page dedicated to each month. After making this realization I got on Amazon and looked for a book with 64 pages. We kept the gender a surprise during both pregnancies, but since I already had my baby I was able to look at the girl ones and fell in love with this option. I'm not a fan of pink but the colors and prints are soft and feminine.The format flows and each page is beautifully laid out. There are prompts to record memories and spaces for pictures. There's a few differences from our other C.R. Gibson book. This one has a paragraph space for writing memories for each month whereas our other book gave prompts like "sleeping patterns, eating habits, new discoveries, accomplishments, special memories, and I can...". But mostly everything else is identical.The only critique I have is the very first page where you fill out the baby's name should also have a line for the birth date but instead it says "by" as in who is recording the memories. I wrote our daughter's birth date anyway. Also there are four pages to record baby shower memories (two showers). We didn't have a baby shower for our baby because we moved so instead I used these pages to tape pictures of family visiting after the birth. We're 2,550 miles away from family so it was very special having so many people fly out to see us and that was important to record.I do recommend buying crafter's tape for attaching pictures to the pages. It's easy and sharp looking when all the pictures are securely and neatly fixated to the page.This book would make a great gift as well.

What a sweet baby book! The cover is even more beautiful in person. Great prompts to write about inside (monthly for the 1st year and then yearly until year 5) very sturdy book.

This is exactly the type of baby book I was looking for! It has spaces to fill things out about first, second, and third trimester. Spots for sonogram photos, pictures of family & expecting mommy. It has questions about mom & dad and where they met. A cute little family tree, I skimmed through & there are places for teeth, vacations, birthdays, each month picture and milestones. It’s very good quality, cute print, thick outside. I really love it! It even has a little box I was able to slide it back into to keep it safe, the picture in the front is a little tight & I did slightly rip the back of the part it slides into but at least I know it’s not going anywhere. I HIGHLY recommend if you’re looking for a detailed, old fashioned baby book like I was!

This baby book is just so beautiful! The floral design on the cover is lovely and the delicate ribbon with a touch of sparkle is so elegant as well as the scalloped photo window. The pages are thick and quality material and all the designs on them beautiful. It has the space for the perfect amount of information and photos of baby from mom expecting and each month up to a year then a page for each year until 5. It also included special memories and occasions and favorites and “firsts”. I ordered several books to choose from and this is hands down unbeatable! I thought it was a little pricey when ordering but this book looks and feels more expensive than the price!!

This is a beautiful baby book. I ordered this after I purchased two other baby books for my older children as babies from c.r Gibson which I loved! The pages are beautifully decorated and I love that there is a space for a photo on the cover. The pages are very detailed covering the first 12 months of life to 5years of age, first teeth, vaccines, growth percentiles, first steps, haircut, you name it it is probably in this book. I have loved all 3 of my baby books from C.R Gibson! These are NOT cheap looking. Would be a beautiful gift to an expectant mother. You definitely get your money’s worth in this keepsake! I will forever recommend these books to anyone.

Excellent baby book! I got the three ringed binder version and it is very easy to add more pages to the book to supplement what is already there. I also popped each page into a plastic page protector, as they dont come with these, and I want the photos to be more protected -- it would be great if each page came in a sleeve already. Without adding extra pages, it is very comprehensive and easy to follow and fill in.

Really love the content on pages in this book and that it’s a binder. There’s a couple plastic sleeves in the back to drop things in which will be very helpful in storing items you can’t glue down.Deducted a star due to some of the holes on the pages being torn. It should have been made with hole reinforcements. I don’t see it lasting decades without them. I bought a pack of 200 which was sufficient to reinforce all the pages once on the back side and a few torn holes back & front. Very tedious but well worth it. Totally worth buying this book but just go ahead and buy reinforcers too.

I have purchased the same brand of baby book for all 4 of my children! I love how derailed it is! I love that it has a place for special memories before, during and after birth but also goes up to 5 years old! Very special! I love it! I've been gifted baby books with every child and always end up purchasing one of these instead!

I am in love with this baby book. I wanted to purchase one that was highly detailed and this is most definitely it! I have been able to fill so much out already and there is still so much more to go! I hope my daughter can appreciate this when she is older and able to understand that this time of her life between 0-5 are full of so much joy and big milestones.

This book is not made well, the pages were all dented upon arrival. And have to be incredibly careful turning the pages.
