A smaller and much cheaper version of my broken Chemex.
I love this coffee maker! I have gone through 2 Chemex coffee makers - both broken with relatively light bumps on the counter. After two at $49, I decided to buy a cheaper alternative. The first one broke. I just received the Mixpresso. The good - It is adorable, a smaller version of my Chemex coffee maker and much cheaper. The downside is that it is relatively smaller. With my big mugs of coffee I will get two cups per fill. I think in the long run it is going to be perfect for me.

Easy to use, excellent coffee.
Very attractive, easy to use product that makes excellent, smooth tasting coffee. The large makes quite a lot of coffee. It can be washed in a dishwasher when the collar is removed. I substituted a Velcro ring for the leather tie, so as to be able to remove the wooden ring more easily for washing. The leather tie is fussy, though attractive. I use a medium grind in my Rocky to make this coffee and it works very well.

Great product with an awesome value!
I like this pour over coffee brewer better than the ones with a handle. It’s much more compact but delivers the same great coffee!

Has nice pour spout.
It was great except the wood seams didn't match up which was rather disappointing, but other 5han that, very nice fire the money.

Makes a good tasting coffee
I have used it several times for pour over coffee. I use a water pot to heat the water to the recommended temperature. So far I am pleased with this carafe. They warn against placing carafe on a hot surface. Being made of borosilicate glass, it should tolerate some moderate temperature warming to keep coffee warm. Not sure if placing it on a heating tray would be ok or not.

Pretty basic
This is great for the price but if you're looking for durability, just spend the extra money on the Chemex. The ties around the wooden neck guard broke within a couple of days, the neck guard fits but not really, and it's pretty hard to completely clean which means descaling more often than I'd like.

Clear and deliciousness created!
I just could not bring myself to purchasing the more expensive Chemex so decided I would try this less expensive version. I have made several cups and have not been disappointed in one. And I am very-very picky about my coffee. You can make it as strong as you like, the delicious coffee drips clear with not grounds, not bitter and easy to use. Not disappointed I did not purchase the Chemex, don’t know how it could do better and over twice the price.

Read user instructions!
Love the Mixpresso. It takes a little getting used to because the brewing process is a little unique especially if you are used to using a regular drip machine. I failed to moisten the filter my first time out and, as predicted the filter loaded with ground coffee started to slide down the cone when I poured the water in. I caught it in time and reset it but that is not a mistake I will make again. You must moisten the filter before loading the coffee. I also just ordered an electric gooseneck pot. My regular electric pot is good at dumping large quantities of hot water very quickly but not very good at finessing the delivery. So the takeaway is brewing with the Mixpresso is a bit more involved, detailed and requires a bit more attention but the results are really worth the effort.

Easy to use
I was surprised with how effective this coffee maker was to use, clean, and easily serves 2.It feels like the glass is quite sturdy and the addition of wood grips is great.Cleaning is a 4/5, as the neck is slightly too small to reach through in order to scrub the main body.In conclusion, this is a fantastic product for anyone looking to brew quick cups of coffee

Welcome to flavor town
I love it! I was on a quest to find the best coffee maker. Through my internet searching i realized there were so many more categories than i had considered so instead i searched reviews for best cup of coffee made at home. This style of maker was near the top and also near the lowest priced. I settled on the Mixpresso largely due to the sizes available and of course price. The glass seems strong and the wood collar is easily removed for washing. Best advice for brewing would be to wet the filter before using it. My only regret is that coffee from drip makers now seems flavorless . Wife blames me for "ruining" her drip coffee maker.

Great coffee carafe
I've used this a handful of times in the first days of receiving it and I love it! Along with the Chemex square filters it makes a great cup of coffee. The shape is perfect for the pour over method and easy to clean. If I plan to use it again within the day I just give it a quick swirl with water and rinse it out. I clean it using a bottle cleaner on the inside and wipe the outside with a damp cloth. The glass doesn't seem too thin but do be careful to not knock it over!

Good value, bit fragile
The glass is a bit fragile and must be cleaned very gently. Cracked the first one I bought so I purchased a second one. It produces good coffee and I use the Melitta bamboo filters with pretty good results. I'm sure a more refined coffee snob would explain why the more expensive pour over coffee carafe brands are better, but for my daily use purposes it does the trick. Only downside is how gently you must treat it when washing, but I can live with that.
