If you have a BB90 push-fit bottom bracket to remove, then you will be aware that it smaller in diameter than many. This is the tool you need. Very high quality, I have little doubt it will last a lifetime. It's also about half the price of the Park Tool alternative.The purchase area inside the bottom bracket is very small so do follow the tip which suggests pushing a suitably sized socket (from a wrench set) into the tool when it is in place in the BB. This ensures the splines remain splayed and in contact with the bearing as you hit it with a mallet.

I bought this to remove the BB72 press fit bottom bracket on my road bike. It has a 24mm diameter and the tool fitted perfectly. Removing the bearing cups was easy with the removal tool which clicked behind the cups exactly as it should have. This was also a faction of the price of some of the bigger names in bike tools and performed flawlessly.

I bought this tool to remove the bb86 bottom bracket on my road bike.Unfortunately the material is too malleable, causing the splayed arms to not spring out as much as they need to when pulled through the bearing.This meant that when i tried to drive the bearing out, the arms kept retracting and passing straight through the inside of the bearing.I tried at least 10 times, from both sides, to no avail, had to give up in the end.Really wish i’d paid the extra and bought the park tool for this job now.A good example of buy cheap, buy twice.Don’t waste your money.

I was surprised by the quality of the metal. It was by no means too weak for the removal of a SRAM GXP bottom bracket on a mountain bike (22/24mm diameter). The device did not suffer, and I have no doubt it can be reused many times for the same purpose. I am happy I did not spend four times the price for the ParkTool gadget.
