This pan does a four pound chicken to perfection. Hawkins make the best stainless steel and non-stick. Works super good on a induction hob.

We bought it to specifically avoid sticking at the bottom while cooking special items such as biryani. However, it has been disappointing as it sticks, can't fry items, especially for this price.

Quality stainless steel, thick bottom, perfect for all kinnds of cooking. High recommend this product.

Delivered on 8 September to NSW. I bought a deep kadai of Hawkins from an Indian store, so I know how genuine Hawkins products are. Honestly, I thought ordering from Amazon might not give the same quality, but I was pleasantly surprised—the product is real and sturdy. I did one silly thing right after receiving it: I boiled water with salt and vinegar, which left some reaction stains. They’re not harmful at all. I even attached pictures—one of it just after receiving, and another after boiling. The rainbow color you see is totally normal for stainless steel; it fades away as you keep cooking. Overall, it’s totally worth it. Very happy with the purchase.
