Perfect replacement
This battery restored my mobility back to my machine's original capacity. It charges and lasts just like it did out of the factory. This model of Alienware tho was not designed to make battery replacement simple or easy, though that is not the fault of the battery seller.

Doesn't work
This is trash battery... at first I got excited because my Alienware 17 R3 turned on... and the battery icon said it's charging from 41% and it did charge up to 100%.And continued working with satisfaction.Until I unplugged it for the next day... when I turned it on without the charger cable and as soon as the screen hit the alienware icon - shut down.It didn't turn on anymore. Unless i connect the charger cable.And when it's on (like right now) it works without any issue.Battery doesn't show errors.But as soon as I disconnect the charger cable from the laptop while it's on - it shuts down.So NO. this battery doesn't work and i don't think the seller will send me a replacement... it's a shame, because I paid for this + the customs to get it from the USA to Ecuador.My laptop is not a laptop anymore.

Exactly as ordered
This product worked the first time i plugged it in and turned everything on. My alienware 17 R3 has previous issues with recognizing the battery and would limit performance because of it. Now it runs perfectly and no firmware issues on boot-up. Charged great and still holding strong. I'm really glad this product was available for my repair needs.

The battery is damaged
When the battery is fully charged and my laptop needs more power because I am doing something that requires it... My Laptop turns off in a second, without turning off in the correct mode... Making me waste a lot of time on what I was working on, beside all the time to installing it and unistalling againg, so they don't check if their batteries are working properly before they seld them

Works as it should
Battery was a straight plug and play replacement for the original. No issues with install or function. Seems to be a solid hood quality replacement for my alienware 17 r2 battery.

Easy to install battery
I was surprised there weren't any instructions included for installing the battery in my Asus computer. Thank goodness for YouTube. The videos I found were clear and concise.
