Like this more than the adult version
I have tried both the regular Mo Maggie Magnesium lotion, which has a higher magnesium content, and this one for kids. The regular one definitely works for me but the high magnesium content stings my skin—I still used it, though, because the sting would wear off after a while and because it did help to relax my muscles.I decided to try this one to see what it was like and here are my thoughts:1. It doesn’t sting (unless you have scratches or a cut), though on me it still slightly tingles2. I do use more of it because of the lower magnesium concentration but it still works to relax my muscles and get my dose of magnesium. I also like that I can use more of it as the consistency is nice.3. I like that I don’t have to wash my hands when I use it. With the regular one, you need/want to wash your hands because it leaves a tacky residue on them.I still like the regular one—I get migraines so a higher dose is sometimes helpful but for every day use, this one is perfect for me!

Better sleep + more diapers
My 13 month old has never, ever slept through the night until I started using this. He was waking constantly and no fewer than 5 times at night. I have been using it a week, and he is now sleeping for at least 7 hour stretches and settles more easily if he wakes up. His sleep time is not longer, but we have gone from 3 wakeups between 8 and midnight to MAYBE one, if any. Also, if he wakes up after that, it's once, usually for a drink of water, and he settles right back down. This is wonderful. I'm finally starting to feel a little more rested. Which is awesome, because I need more energy to deal with the massive increase in diapers. I am using less than a pea size for each of his tiny feet every night (pea sized amount total?), and it is definitely increasing his output. Pick your battles, I guess.

Good product
This is a good product for building a sleep routine. First I applied it to my wrist area to make sure it didn’t burn my skin. It doesn’t burn my skin or my babies feet.It doesn’t really have a smell. It’s easy to use and helps my baby sleep through the night.Usually I put a small amount on her feet during a diaper change so it has a minute to soak in. The post diaper change nightly bottle usually puts her into a deep sleep. You don’t need much. It’s a super large bottle for using just on baby feet.I’d recommend it.Bonus: you could use this on yourself if you wanted. If your baby is constipated this should help within a day or two.

works well
we started using it on my 4 year old. she was waking up all night long and was very hard on me and my husband as we both work full time. we bought this to help her sleep. one thing it DID help with was helping her calm down and fall asleep quicker before bed. it did not fully help her so we ended up buying her some Valerian root. the combination of using both is quite amazing. one helps her settle down and the other helps her stay asleep longer. i have tried just the Valerian root alone but notice a drastic difference in her settling down. so we use both

Finally slept through the night
OMG we just slept through the night for the first time in more than 8 months. Everyone including baby woke up in a great mood. I hope this keeps working, but even one night's sleep was worth the price. My wife cried in relief. I don't know if I've ever been more satisfied with a purchase. There's no smell that I can tell, and it didn't seem to cause any irritation on the skin.

This worked wonders for my 15 month old!
I think this lotion works if there is a NEED for it. If your little one isn’t deficient in magnesium/ there is a different reason for their sleep disruption, I don’t know how well it will work for you since this is basically a magnesium supplement. My son has been an amazing sleeper since birth, but ever since he turned a year old, he has had trouble sleeping. Waking up to every. Little. Thing. Waking up all hours of the night. Screaming bloody murder all day from exhaustion, but refusing to sleep. He was averaging 13.5-14.5 hours of sleep for awhile and dropped down to an average of 8-9 hours of sleep TOTAL. After months of this and exhausting every option I could think of, this exhausted and miserably suffering little kid- I felt so bad for him but it was to the point that even *I* was getting so little sleep for such a long period of time (1-3 hours max in a 24-48 hour period) that my health was starting to fail. A wonderful sweet friend of mine suggested I try this- I ordered it right up and noticed a difference immediately. I also used a new kid safe sleepy essential oil blend in his diffuser which I believe has helped as well. But-First use- he didn’t sleep LONGER, but he definitely slept DEEPER and only woke up twice in the middle of the night, but went back to sleep easily, no screaming. Slept about 7 hours that night.Second use- slept 9 hours, plus two 2 hour naps.Third use- slept 13 straight hours at night and didn’t wake up at all.I’ve been using this about a week and He has been sleeping wonderfully, so peaceful at night and happy when he wakes up in the morning. He doesn’t wake up for every little noise, doesn’t wake up to my husbands work alarm anymore, he actually seems well rested and he is back to sleeping how much he used to. This has been a heaven sent product for us! Now I’m starting to recover too! I highly recommend at least trying it if you’re having sleep issues with your little ones!

Burns
So I didn’t notice right away and it breaks my heart. My baby usually giggles when I put lotion on him. He was having a pretty bad sleep regression and I was really desperate. I did as recommended and started with just the feet and all was good so I added more areas over time. He generally was crying when I put it on him and I assumed it was from just being sleepy. No one was sleeping so I wasn’t thinking clearly. I put it on him after his vaccines and it was a truly blood curdling scream of pain and I realized it was the cream applied to the broken skin. I put it on my own legs and any kinds of minor opening was burning like bumped something through cloths and it was worse after having shaved.Maybe my baby and I are both having issues with an ingredient but I wouldn’t buy again.
