These are nice and use a thicker bearing race.

I broke my old rear axle and ordered this set to fix it. The bearing cone on the cassette side of this axle was different from the one in the bike, but the original from the bike threaded on with no problem, I was able to use parts from this kit for the other end. It was possible to remove and install the axle without removing the cassette on my bike, others may require a cassette wrench and chain whip to get it apart. You will also require axle grease. When my axle broke, it also bent the derailleur hanger a tad and caused the derailleur to ding against the spokes in the lowest gear and the shifting was awful. I tweaked it back to a position where it worked with an adjustable wrench and it worked properly without having to re-adjust the derailleur. After that it rode like a new bike!

Didn't fit. I kept them because they were cheap. I think the fit is as much based on ball bearing size as anything else. I tried these on a Shimano hub 26" wheel and no go. Doesn't mean it won't work for you but not for me. If I find another application I'll try again. UPDATE I ended up using these on a wheel and it worked. Again. I think these may be less universal and more "these may work" but I'm upgrading stars to reflect positive use.

This comes with two quick release. I only need one for my Front wheel held up on my motorbike I don’t wanna use it on the back tire because the back wheel is worth well over 200 bucks and someone might steal it but just in case I haven’t tried the axles because I haven’t needed a new ones but for someone who wants all of these things it’s a good product for a good price I didn’t buy this on prime day

Spent time to replace the broken rear axle on a Giant mountain bike. Got everything changed out and ready to mount on the bike. Tried to slide the quick release which came with the axle into the axle and it would only go in about 1/3 of the way. Tried from the other side, it wouldn't go at all. After inspecting the axle the hollow inside for the quick release was only machined about 1/3 of the way through. The front axle was good all the way through. Didn't want to waste time on a replacement part that was defective. Not very happy now I have to wait on another axle. .
