Outstanding trainer at a great price.
This is the first magnetic trainer I have owned. I have had fluid trainers in the past. I had always heard magnetic trainers had a very jerky motion and that always scared me away from them.I am getting back in to cycling (former racer, BMX in my teens, Mtn bikes in my 20s and road through my 30s) I was looking for something inexpensive, but wanted something that had adjustable resistance while on the bike.(my fluid trainers had to be adjusted by getting off the bike and adjusting the roller tighter to the wheel) This unit checked the boxes in the price category and it has adjustable tension. When the unit came I set it up and put my bike in it. I first turned the pedals by hand to check smoothness, and while cranking by hand it wasn't very smooth. However, when I got on the bike and actually pedaled, it was very smooth, as good as any fluid trainer I've used. I started playing around with my pedal stroke, pushing down only, pulling up only (with clipless pedals) and realized that it was only as smooth as I pedaled. This is actually a plus for me because this trainer will absolutely let me know if I'm not pedaling efficiently. I think the reviews that say this trainer is jerky either aren't using clipless pedals or have very poor form. The resistance adjustments work well, I don't feel much of a difference between 1 and 2, but 3-6 give varying levels of resistance that help simulate riding outside.Long story short, this is the best trainer I have ever owned and costs less than half of what my fluid trainers did.

Exactly as advertised
This is an excellent product. It was fairly easy to put together and it fit my racing bike well. Other purchasers have complained about the noise, I have smooth tires and so the noise is really not bad.The construction is solid, it weighs about 25 to 30 pounds so it is sturdy. I bought this to do Tabata training and it works really well. I’m very happy with this product!

Good value for the price, so far...
The box arrived in good condition and no parts were missing. The assembly instructions aren't great but aren't bad, and there's very little assembly so not a big deal. When I first mounted my mountain bike and started riding I was shocked by how loud it was. I'm not sure I would have continued using the trainer at that volume. Also, the action felt a little jerky to me at first, but it was the first time on any bike trainer for me so anything was going to be a step down from road riding. The next day I ordered a slick tire (26" WTB ThickSlick Comp tire) and OMG what a difference - the volume dropped by at least 70%. I also got used to the feel of the resistance and the pedaling became smoother for me. To get a good 30-minute workout I have to put my bike in the highest gear and fluctuate the resistance dial between the top 3 settings (4-6). I'm a 57 year-old moderate athlete, so someone in really good shape might not be as happy with this trainer. The jury is still out regarding durability and tire wear, but so far so good.

Well built
Works like a charm and pretty quiet. The noise level depends on your bike tire.

Good value for$$ - Customer Support is great
Edit 03/16/2023: Their customer support and assistance is by far the best I have experienced! After a few more emails about the previous replacement unit they had shipped (see original review below), their support representative went way above anything I had expected and replaced the entire unit. The replacement is brand-new and works the way it should, quiet and smooth. Here's a company that really stand behind their product and is willing to work with a customer to make things right if given the chance. I certainly would purchase from them again.----------------------------------------------------Original review:Purchased this stand to get some exercise while the winter weather is too ugly to go outside. Never owned one before so I went for the less expensive unit. Works fine, easy set-up, easy to use, nothing fancy.Problem came up about 2 to 3 months (approx 400 miles) later. Thing got really noisy, not just the expected tire noise. It started whining with a really noisy rumble that turned into loud scream as things got worse. Cranking the pedals by hand to observe, I also noticed the resistance wheel was wobbly and just screaming along even at low RPM. Not cool after 3 months of use. So, very disappointed there.Contacted the seller by email and was very surprised to actually hear back from them within 24 hrs! A couple of emails back and forth to give them details they wanted and they sent out a replacement. Surprised again. Opened the box and noticed the unit had some wear marks on the aluminum roller. Hm. Used unit.Swapped out the old screamer with the replacement unit and it was quiet. Nice. I figured I let them know I wasn't too happy about getting a used one and the customer service rep got back within 24 hrs again and we figured things out. Let's see how long this one lasts. My opinion: The stand is ok for the price, nothing fancy, pretty basic. Quality is lacking, considering the resistance wheel (most likely bearings) died after 400 miles in less than 3 months. So, not too thrilled about the quality. Maybe 2 stars for that.Customer support: Now that's a very pleasant surprise and not what one would expect from any company. Not only a response within 24 hrs but actually making an effort to make things right. For that I would rate 5 stars. All in all - 4 stars, mainly because of their customer support.Would I buy another one from them if I were to look for another stand? No, not that particular model. But I would consider another model from them just for the customer support.

Helps if you have a kickstand or someone to help!
Had a hard time setting this up myself. I tried many times to video set up but once again- one person. I can’t get the settings for resistance to change and work properly. I did contact support. I also had a hard time attaching it to the handle bars- you have to pop out the plastic pieces if this happens to you. If I leave the resistance alone the ride is smooth just as I was on a road. Oh…and not this product but probably all trainers- it raises the height of the bike just a few inches but for this 5’ tall women abs my bike is set to fit me on the ground jut up in the air I find it hard to get on and off the bike…not certain how this compares to other trainers. I wanted a nicer one without going too expensive and liked the option of having settings. Was o it able to upload one video sorry
