Ultra UPVC Door Handle Sprung in chrome, I bought this handle to replace a worn looking and no longer smooth operating front door handle. The removal of my old handle was easy enough, but upon fitting the new handle I found the internal bar was 10mm longer than it needed to be, so I grabbed a hacksaw, took off the excess length and it fitted like a dream. It looks so much smarter than before and is buttery smooth again. Overall easy to install and the build quality was decent and a good price

The fittings on my front door were brass coloured and I never really thought anything about it until I saw that I could replace my old, broken letterbox with a new black one. I was so impressed by how much better the black looked against my white uPVC door that I really had to get a new black handle to go with it. Hubby thought it was going to be an impossible task, he thought we'd have to get a whole new locking mechanism and that it was going to turn into a right pain in the neck for him to fit. I was absolutely delighted when I happened upon this handle last Friday and he said that it would fit and I should get it. Ordered Friday evening, arrived Sunday lunchtime. Make sure that you have your door open when fitting this, we didn't and when hubby unscrewed the inside door handle the outside one fell off! He was so excited to fit this that I'd barely got everything out of the packet before this happened. He managed to open the door without us having to go out the back door and go round, so that was good. The strangest thing was that the post thing that was already there was too long for these handles, so he had to use an angle grinder to cut it down to size. No big deal, and he had the whole lot done in under 10 minutes. You only get the new handles in this set, you don't get the insides or the post or screws or anything else at all, so make sure you keep everything that you take out as you will need it to fix this into place; it keeps the cost down, I suppose. I am really happy with this handle, it's given my front door a fresh new look, it even matches in with my new light switch. My hallway needs decorating but we're having a new kitchen this year; I can hardly wait now to get the hall done next summer.

These handles are great value, exactly as described and easy to fit. I carefully measured the existing handles on our UPVC door before ordering these as I had read some of the other reviews complaining of a poor fit etc. When they arrived I was relieved to find that the measurements given on the listing are perfectly accurate and swapping the handles over took all of five minutes. You are supplied with two sets of bolts, two long and two short, to accommodate different thicknesses of door. The 'keyhole' cut-out fitted exactly over our existing locking mechanism. Once fitted these operate exactly the same as the original handles and they give the look that we were after. They seem to be well made and hopefully will give years of trouble free service.

Pleased, looks great quality, simply to install

These are solid, weighty handles. Chrome seems good with full coverage. No blistering, thin areas etc. The spring loaded inserts have 2 springs both sides and seem strong enough. Far better than the standard white ones they've replaced that were not spring loaded and generally knackered. Fit very snug to the door and it takes literally 2 mins to change. Short and long screws for whatever your door needs. We'll see how they last but very impressed. Cheapest I could find but excellent quality.

Very good set of replacement handles for my front door. Before purchasing any replacements, it is important to first remove your old handle and measure it - important measurements are screw centres and location of key hole etc. This handle is sprung, so always returns perfectly to a 90degree position. Handle has been on door for 2 months now and am very happy indeed. Handle out of the package was fairly weighty, so good quality. The chrome plating is excellent, no pitting or marks, like many in a similar price bracket. I put copper grease on the spring mechanism before fitting, to help with corrosion etc, and maintain the springs. It's a good preventative measure for longevity, LM grease would work just as well. Very happy with this item, and at £14,99 at time of purchase is similar in price to others, but the quality and finish of this one is excellent. Very happy and would recommend.

Schönes Teil eigentlich, nur ist der Ausschnitt für den Schliesszylinder zu klein. Mit der Feile war eine Nacharbeit erforderlich. Könnte genauer sein.

L'article est de bonne qualité rien à dire , mais incompatible avec une porte pvc leroy merlin pour laquelle les poignées étaient destinées. Rien ne correspond, ni le gabarit de perçage ni surtout le gabarit du barillet qui n'est pas à la bonne hauteur.. donc retour à l'expéditeur
