Long, tough, but not rust-proof
I bought these large, tough steel anchors to peg down the pillars and guy-ropes of a large gazebo. They seem to be lengths of concrete-reinforcing rod, bent to shape and sheared off at an angle. This is fine in itself, but the silvery coating is thin and may be aluminium-based or zinc-based paint rather than galvanizing. It wears off rather easily, so they do start to corrode when left in the ground for a few weeks, although that may not matter.

This is the second set I've bought, really good quality, quick delivery. Kept my polytunnel anchored down during high winds.

Great anchors
Have used these to anchor the children’s slide in my back garden. My grandchildren kept moving slide about but not now. The anchors are very heavy duty and are made from quality materials.
