Q: doe s the flexible shield / seal stay in while using this product?

I have own the hopper for about 2 months and there are 0 problems with its use. It does the job very well. Yes the seal stays in place.

Q: Does this fit the new encore esp?

Very likely yes. Also, check out the one-dose hopper from Baratza: It does not have the bellowesd, but, honestly the retention in the Encore is so minimal that it's overkill. Just tap on the top of Baratza's less expensive version or even gently lift it up and re-seat it to get the same effect. Cheers, n.

Q: Does single dosing help with the horrible inconsistensy of Baratza Vario + grinders??

Single dosing allows you to control what goes in and measure what comes out for sure and the bellows help a lot with retention. Doesn’t solve it entirely but it helps.

Q: Is it compatible with the Vario+?

It compatible with my Vario W+ if that helps.
