AJIN

Ajins have been discovered and they are immortal or are they. They are called Ajin and you only find out that you are one after you die. Which is what happens to our main character...Ajins are locked up, tortured and looked down upon by society. Generally people are afraid of them and are asked to turn them in if they discover one. Slight spoiler.....guess what happens. Kei is daydreaming and is killed in the process on the street. While everyone stands around looking on in horror something begins to happen to Kei and he gets up and realizes what he is. At that point he is scared and takes off......... That happens in the first 5 or 10 minutes so I did not give you to much to go on but alliances are formed and he is just a kid wanting to live his life in peace but will society let him? Animation style is great...think Knights of Sidonia, Blame...along those lines. This is an adult oriented story and there is no nudity..no harem comedy and I honestly do not remember any language issues. I found this series to be excellent and perhaps even with underlying tones of acceptance for others whom are not like you. There already is a second season to this on Netflix and all are in English or Japanese if you prefer.

I loved the story the setting the characters all very well done. I did have two major gripes.1) They get excessively chatty in the explaining lore side of things. If someone says something doesn't work well in the rain I don't need a 4 minute exposition in the following episode explaining the fact.2) While the CG works great for the black ghosts and action scenes the calmer conversations base jump into the uncanny valley. I had the same problem with the 2nd project Ito film Harmony.All in all I will buy season 2 when available as it's a good show despite the anoyances.

Nicely made series that I saw on Netflix and wanted to own, it's just better on blu-ray.

I loved the anime so when I saw the first season on Blu-ray I had to get it! Product came in perfect condition.

Although the item was in good condition, the movie was NOT new! Next time, would like to receive what I actually purchase which was a NEW item!

The animation in this series is hard to get used to, but once you get over the low fps and almost non-human movement, you'll be rewarded with an interesting and badass story. The main character, Kei, and his initial buddy, the blonde headed Kaito, are a really cool dynamic. I'm a huge fan of Death Note, and Kei comes off as cold and calculated in the same way as Light does. It's really rare to find main characters like that, so if you've been looking for something different, I would definitely recommend this show.

何年か前にＴＶで放送始まったので、２シーズンとも録画し、さあ見ようかなとＣＭをカットしていたら、２６話中３話ほど録画失敗してました。あーーーーなんじゃそりゃーーーーそんなこんなで見ないままレコーダーに映像が入ったまま今に至っていましたが、２０１９年７月にアマゾンでこのブルーレイを発見！酔った勢いで購入し、先ほど届きました。ＴＶ版が２枚、映画が１枚の３枚です。早速ＴＶ版１枚目を再生してみると、ＳＯＮＹのリージョンフリー機で再生可能、パナの日本機器で再生不能でした。以下はＳＯＮＹですが、メニュー画面では①英語音声②日本語音声＋英語強制字幕③日本語音声＋スパニッシュ強制字幕でした。②と③で再生後にリモコンから字幕消そうとしましたがダメでした。（強制字幕）でもＴＶの地デジより画質が良い感じで、これはええ感じです。とはいっても、今放映中のＮＨＫでの４Ｋ放送版シドニアの騎士ほどではありませんが、満足レベルです。また地デジ録画と見比べたわけではないので内容やシーンが全く同じかはわかりません。内容はとてもおもろいので、字幕が気にならない方は購入してもいいのではないでしょうか。後半のブルーレイも購入するつもりです。

とにかく面白い。実写映画からアニメにたどり着きました。ドキドキハラハラしたストーリーです。
