What is the difference between a large plus and a XL?

The plus sizes are for DD+ cups.

Yes and it does sort of sit where the bar is but there is no digging in or aggravation.

I'm confused... how can 34 dd be smaller than 34 d? i want to order for a 34dd but am afraid to order the wrong size.

So the difference between a reg small and a plus small is in the cup. A plus small is for a dd/ddd size. Like I am a 34dd. So a regular small wouldn’t fit me in the cups. But if I got a small plus, since the cups are meant for a dd/ddd, it would fit me. Same goes for a reg medium and a plus medium, the plus is the same size band as a reg medium- just a bigger cup.
