This barrette depicts a true love story! Two cute blue birds of happiness are perched on leafy branches, blowing kisses at each other. The whole design was carved into the genuine leather by hand and then painted in various hues of metallic paint. You can choose how you want this leather hair barrette to be finished: choose a wood hair stick and wear it as a barrette, or choose a silver clip to wear it as a hair clip instead.No machines are ever harmed in the making of our leather art! Each piece is cut, tooled, carved, stamped, painted and conditioned by hand. Since all our leather goods are handmade using primitive tools, no two items are ever truly alike. The item you receive may not be 100% identical as the main photo due to how the leather accepts the tooling and dyeing techniques we use. Each piece of leather is unique and may have natural imperfections on the surface - these do not affect the quality of the leather.
