Great for starting screws in wood and metal. Not heavy duty for large sockets and mechanic work.
I broke 2 of these. They work great for screws. I broke them when driving large bolts using mechanics sockets. I can't get by without one for screws so I am determined to remove this holder when doing heavy work. Great product.

A Bit Disappointed in Quality
Stripped out the first one rebuilding my shed, exterior structures, and fixing my house that I purchased with my VA loan. Granted, DeWalt replaced the defective one outside of their “warranty” with this item, but still not happy with the current quality. The shank held up fine, however it is the part that holds the bit which completely stripped out. Typically Dewalt is some of the best on the market, but in this case, it was a total let down with the poor product quality in this case, with this item.

Do not purchase this product
This is not worth purchasing. All 3 of these failed after driving 8 to 10 screws. The sleeve immediately loosens up and falls off causing endless frustration. I purchased the Dewalt because they are suoosed to make a quality tool. They missed the mark badly on this one.
