SUPER Customer Service & great product
Okay now....hear we go, lol.I ordered this set when was on a “sale” from price of $106.99; so I paid around $99 for the 3-piece set.It arrived the next morning, SO COOL! I didn’t get it till couple hrs later & opened it up & started checking things out. Everything looked ok, but this was my first pasta set for a stand mixer; & my first pasta rolling & cutting set period. So, as I thought everything was “okay”, it actually was not. The pasta roller attachment wasn’t in good shape. It was difficult to turn the thickness selector knob (the spring was wonky & wouldn’t align), & there was a lot of slop in the knob as well. Then, looking at the rollers inside the attachment, I found some severe “marks”, scrapes, etc....instead of nice “smooth” rollers as they should have been. So, I did a return/replacement with Amazon & awaited my new set. I did try contacting GVODE Support thru Amazon email, but b/c if the situation happening, & some companies don’t resp9nd at all when contacting them.....I went thru with replacement. It arrived the next day, again, Awesome AMAZON! So cool. Well, I packed up the set I had & shipped back to Amazon few hours after received my replacement set. The replacement set was the same as first I got, everything looked fine, the cutters looked okay, spatula/brush combo looked okay, & instructions looked ok. Then I hooked up the roller & OMG. Not only did it squeak, (which first one didn’t), had more marks on/in the rollers, smh. Was disappointed & so, I posted a comment asking if others had this issue. At same time, I received an email from GVODE Support (that surprised me, Cuz didn’t think I would). They said they saw I did a return thru Amazon & they couldn’t help with first set since a replacement was issued. I said okay. The comments I got, said the rollers should be free of marks, & I even saw a neighbors kitchenaid brand pasta roller/cutter set (the original) & it was mark, gash free....& the knob worked great. Now this happened before GVODE support sent me a message & before received new set from Amazon. When I received new set, I sent a reply to GVODE explaining my issues. Ryan, the Customer Support Agent from GVODE was who I “spoke” to thru email. He said that the sail on these was probably a promo & some “bad” units slipped through QC (ok, that happens, I get it....) & that b/c GVODE supports their products & wants their items to make the customers happy.....they have a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee policy. He said even though went thru Amazon in first item for a replacement, & I received the second now & it was still damaged, he would help me b/c if the policy, mind you, I looked at Amazon for a replacement again, but the inky option I had was to return the entire set & get a refund; something I didn’t wanna do for 2 reasons. The cutters are fine, & the price was awesome (I know, I know, but on a budget). Ryan from GVODE said no problem, he would happily just ship me out a new pasta roller. That’s it, simple, & I could keep or bin the damaged one.....I was shocked. I said that would be great! He said they stand by their products & customers. 4 days later the new pasta roller arrived, & OMG, it’s perfect. No issues, & works great. Very happy with the set & the customer service, something, we forget to contact at times for help. If I woulda been patient, I think things woulda been fixed quicker, but regardless, I have a complete working pasta roller/cutter set from GVODE that works great. Nice solid hefty set, & I’ve already been making pasta at home.Gotta say, had to get used to thickness settings; as usually the higher the number, the thinner the Pasta. This is the opposite on this brand, which...not an issue for me; & only reason I know this, watching videos on using a pasta roller machine on internet.; but doesn’t bother me, Cuz it works superb & im EXTREMELY happy with the purchase & the customer support Ryan gave me from GVODE. I’ve never used the kitchenaid brand, or any other brands; but this GVODE brand has made me happy. Like I said: it’s solid stainless steel, hefty, works great (especially with a new roller that actually works), & makes great sheets of pasta along with the 2 cutter attachments for linguini & a spaghetti pasta. Would 100% recommend & if have ANY issues with what you receive, go ahead & send an email to GVODE CS telling them your troubles, they’ll help ya out.Well, hope this helped, & I’m done with my long story, lol.

Amazing, Great Quality Rivaling KitchenAid's Pasta Attachements
I just ordered and received these pasta attachments yesterday and tried them out today. It was amazing opening the sturdy, high quality box that the lovely attachments came in....there's a holding compartment for each one so it acts as a good storage box for when they are not in use. I own an Atlas manual pasta maker and these attachments are just like the heavy stainless steel cutters that come with the Atlas. I was also able to compare them to the Kitchenaid attachments and see no difference in quality at all. These are heavy duty, clean and shiny and cut beautifully. They fit snugly into the Kitchenaid and with the motor on "stir", runs the blades without any effort or noise. I am so pleased with these! For several years I have toyed with the idea of purchasing the Ktchenaid's attachments but the price point just put me off. I was able to purchase these for less than half the price of the Kitchenaid's price tag, and didn't have to shop around for them. Often the stores in my area didn't even stock them on their shelves. Having never heard of the Gvode, I was a bit apprehensive on the quality but since they could be returned I decided to take a chance. BUT, I will not be returning them as I am so thrilled to be able to make pasta using the flours and grains that I want without the hassle of the manual one and without the high price tag of the original Kitchenaid attachments. I would highly recommend the purchase of these if you are into making your own pasta....I had lunch for four done in 6 minutes not including the making and resting of the pasta dough. Oh Christmas shopping could be done now...I know of several family members who would love this for a gift....most of my family own the Kitchenaid mixer.

Good Enough
I had a great opportunity to use this set of attachments alongside the KA brand OG set (that cost A LOT more). The Good: I made some great pasta. Seriously, not much difference between my homemade spaghetti and fettuccine compared to my friend using the name brand tools. The Bad: I’d say instruction manual is the biggest difference. The version included was a terribly translated, not detailed guess. But it’s really not that hard to make pasta. I just followed the not great instructions kind of guessed a bit and did totally fine.I would also add that my friends name brand set was finished nicer…like the screws were pretty, this set was heavy but my friends was even heavier. But honestly, I felt like my set was just as good and given the price point , I think this set is a great purchase.

Everything It Claims To Be
Having previously only made pasta by hand, I used this pasta attachment set for the first time today and am absolutely thrilled with it. I did lots of research before selecting this model - looking at crank types, motorized types and other attachments for the Kitchenaid. I decided on an attachment set for the Kitchenaid because it frees up both hands to handle the dough, gets the device well off the counter, giving me room to work before the dough hits the counter and allows me to do the whole job with just one machine (mixed the dough using the Kitchenaid dough hook and rolled and cut the pasta with this attachment set), I was drawn to this model by the lower price and the good reviews. It is just as good and just as fun to use as the manufacturer and the previous reviewers claim. All the components are sturdy, work well, easy to use and easy to clean. I followed the instructions for cleaning and it worked out just fine, though I do wish there was some way to sanitize the components (the instructions prohibit getting the devices wet). The packaging is an added bonus, providing a nice and compact way to store all the components and the cleaning brush. By the way, I have a commercial Kitchenaid mixer and was a little concerned the pasta attachment might not fit on the power takeoff, but it does fit.

Works Great HARD to clean
Worked very well but they are really really hard to clean. Can't immerse them in water
