Exact replacement. Easy to Program.
My set of programmable key fobs came without instructions but a quick Google search got me what I needed. For Lincoln, Mercury and Ford vehicles just hit the unlock button when inside the car with the door closed. Rotate the ignition from stopped to just before start (Just don't engage the starter) 8 times. On the 8th rotation actually start the car. You should have heard the locks in the vehicle cycle to let you know you're in program mode. Now just hit any button on the new fob. You should hear the locks click. Keep pressing until you do. If you bought more than one hit any button on the second fob and keep trying until you hear the locks click. That's it. If this is confusing there are several YouTube videos. Takes literally ten seconds when done right.

Works
I had to Google the program instructions because the ones included didn't work. They work great!

Best Deal/ Bang For The Buck Ever!
Holy smokes, this was the most pleasant purchase I've experienced in quite a while. This was a Hail Mary purchase after having zero luck with a handful old key fobs. Figured for the low price, and money back guarantee, it was worth a shot. Programming procedure was slightly different from normal. Followed those instructions and ended up with two brand new fobs, properly working, and the original fob functioning properly as well. I think I have all of two minutes invested in the entire procedure! THRILLED! Great way to end the day. The least I can do is give a good rating for these fobs and procedure.

Empty shells
These are blank shell dummy fobs with no transmitter. When I enter programming mode my original fob pairs immediately while the replacements do not have a signal at all. I’ve attached a photo comparing them. My original is on the right and the replacement pair are on the left.

Lost memory?
I've bought these before from various vendors. The plastic always breaks at the key ring. They're easy to program, key in car, turn without turning car on, turn off, repeat until your locks click. Think it's 7 times. And done. The one I'm using currently, bought a pair, stopped working. I figured the battery was just old, so I replaced it. Had to reprogram it. Then it stopped working again. Since I knew the battery was good, I reprogrammed it again. Never happened with others I've bought. No biggie though. They look identical to the originals and all functions work. The range seems to be inconsistent and shorter most times than what I was used to. But they're cheap and work. No complaints.

Simple to program
I really don't know why I waited so long to replace my dead key fob. These things are cheap, last for years, and took me less than a minute to program. I'm not speaking figuratively I'm being literal. I spent less than 60 seconds to program it. I nailed it correctly on the first try. It couldn't have been easier.
