Bought this stringer to use on my 45 pound Hungarian recurve bow, and this stringer does the job. It beats stinking the bow tip on the ground and forcing the bow to bend un eventually. Better for the bow and the bow string!

Very satisfied with this stringer ease of use, quality, I the 2” wide material, a lot easier to use than the string/cord stringers, plenty long for my 70” unstrung/66” strung recurve 35# bow.

I liked the idea of purchasing a stringer from the same place/manufacturer/brand that my bow was made from since it should be a better fit, and work well. I'm assuming it would work well with any bow since it strings a bow very quickly, and feels very secure when stringing it. It holds the tips of the bow securely without scratching or leaving marks. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a bow stringer that's inexpensive, but worth much more for how well it works.

This stringer is great! The ribbon design is dar superior to a typical 'rope' stringer. It allows you to flex the limbs way more easily than a rope stringer and the ribbon stringer is a lot less likely to get tangled up with your bowstring. I've been convincing people in my Archery Club to switch to this stringer. It's also very affordable which is nice.

I have an 80# horse / composite bow but could not string with this item. The gripping end does not grip well enough to string the bow because of the intense curve of my bow's limbs. Seems I'll just have to do without.I'm going to give this stringer to a friend who has a regular recurve bow and it should work fine for the one they have and surely if they get anywhere near 80#

I got the adjustable version (apparently unique among the reviewers here thus far) because I have a 48" horse bow; this thing worked perfectly without even having to make any adjustments. Was equally easy to use on my friend's 62" Sage. Definitely a keeper. Bonus: like my dad, made in Pakistan.
