Model MSP-0406 Leak Free SAE Flare Connections - Refrigerant Leaks Refrigeration, HVAC, Ductless, Schrader Valve or Mini Split Applications (1/4", Mini Split Pack - (2) 1/4" and (2) 3/8")

For me this is a last solution. My application was at low pressure and not toxic.

I wish I had had these thirty years ago! Expensive, but easy to use and well worth avoiding a leak in a flared fitting.

Se ve un producto con nivel adecuado de calidad, solo que la cubierta exterior de material sellante se ve muy rigida, parece mas una arandela de metal que un dispositivo de sellado que pueda amoldarse a superficies imperfectas, que es lo que debiera ser, de lo contrario no seria mejor que la propia conexión a a sellar. Pero les daré el beneficio de la dudad y que el tiempo y uso lo diga.

Expensive but my HVAC guy who did the leak check and final turn on of my self installed 3 zone mini split system swears by these. Said he installed 20 mini splits last year with zero leaks. He says even using a top quality eccentric flare tool and the sealing fluid. Nygblue or what's it called he always had leaks. System only been operating 2 months so let's wait a year to see if still operating fine.

I'd really have liked it if they'd have labeled the little zip loc bags inside the container, as many sizes (eg 3/8 and 1/2) look very similar, and once you've used some up, you may not be sure which ones you have left, so you find yourself using trial and error to figure it out.
