I'm a adult with autism & extremely sensitive sensory problem. Here's my review for adults for it. Because all other reviews are of peoples kids. As a adult. My head isn't big. When these came the box is small I took them out thought the headband itself would extend. Doesn't extend the ear cup part (Shell) moves down. The headband is a tight fit. I will end up buying a entirely different one. The sound is muffled but you can still hear noise clear as day just not as loud. I would recommend a different type which you can actually extend the headband itself. However these headphones do fit my head. I will be using these until I buy a entirely different one. Hope this helps other adults who are wondering about buying these or not. I do not recommend you put these around your neck at all.

I'm super happy with these. My son has high functioning autism... loud sounds and big crowds really upset him but he's embarrassed about it. These are a stylish way for us to take our puppy for a walk without worrying about barking, and they don't bring too much attention to my sons sensory issues. Just looks like he's wearing cool headphones

I love these noise cancelling ear muffs. My 8 year old autistic son wore them at the carnival last weekend. He started to become dysregulated due to the excessive loud noise. He readily agreed to try the ear muffs, because he really wanted to stay and go on the rides. They protected his sensitive ears perfectly and he was able to enjoy the rest of the carnival without incident. Yay! He likes them and says that they are comfortable. Previously, we used cheap regular heaphones (think $5 section at Target), but he would never keep them on and they didn't reduce loud noise much at all. These noise cancelling ear muffs are an excellent product, and affordable too. I know they work because he wears them happily and leaves them on. Best of all, they help us prevent sensory meltdowns and we all stay happy! Thanks!

My almost 3 year old who HATES wearing music headphones LOVED these! I purchased them for the monster truck show and he never took them off. Wore them for 9 hours straight (pit pass and show). He is a big boy for his age and they fit perfect.

We bought these for the Independence Day parade, knowing the fire trucks and marching bands are often loud. Our 14 month old daughter wore them comfortably without hesitation during the loud parts of the parade. (It was very hot and sunny, hence the hat on top 😂)

I bought these for my six month old to wear to a concert and they were perfect for that use. I put them on him and he wore them happily without trying to take them off, so I think that they are comfortable. He fell asleep wearing them at the concert and slept for 2.5 hours through hooting and cheering and really loud music, so I think they do a good job muting the noise level.The ear muffs also fit my four year old, but I think they would be too small on 8 year olds and up (or any kid with a big head). We plan to use them in the future for fireworks and concerts. Highly recommend the product and felt the price was affordable!

Nice fitting, affordable ear protection for my 6 y/o. We got this as part of a big-boy handyman gift for Christmas. It matched the toolbelt we got him.He likes helping his dad around the house, or in the yard. And HATES loud noises. These work great for him, and he likes that they are his, and match his set :)I tried them on too, and they’d fit me too... they adjust to head-size. Would recommend these.

The headphones are made of good quality solid and came with no issues. they were little tight for my son who is 2 years and 8 months. he took it off a few times during the Monster Jam show but after little bit he put it back on.
