I am so disappointed, loud pump, pretty fountain

The pump on this is louder than the light trickle of water it puts out. I have tried place the pump in various positions and test various water levels and still... all I hear is the humming motor. I am so disappointed because the fountain is really pretty.

Do not purchase

Found the same item at Walgreens for $12. Tiny, poor quality item.I'm embarrassed I actually paid anything for it. Tried to return and it will cost me an additional $10. Nice!!
